About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I didn’t know about this one (as you know, I ordered the Nordstrom exclusive one) but I’m wondering if it will be at Ulta. I know I’ll get it one way or the other but one 14.0 palette a day is plenty.

In any case, what a team! We managed to identify the sellers carrying the new 14.0 palettes, no thanks for BareMinerals!

I didn’t order the Norides one, no smoke for these puffy eyes but I did get this one, like I need another bronze/nude palette in my life right? I kind of regret not getting the nordies one but I can’t pull off those blues/blacks too well! LOL…! Amen! 😀 I’m wondering if Sephora will also have one!? P.S. All credit to you for locating that 14.0 on Nordies!

I hate they release different versions to different retailers. With no marketing, I feel like I have to constantly search or risk missing one! Maybe they want you to feel that sort of anxiety but it’s no fun. >:-O P.S. Macy has the Nordstrom one too!

I agree with you – bareminerals is playing a really silly game releasing some palettes with some retailers and other palettes with other retailers.
It is VERY annoying. Furthermore, they don’t seem to stock the new releases at the only shop that sells the brand in Aus.

OK so I ordered the QVC one, too, although I really don’t need another warm palette. The Nordies one with it’s cooler tones I could at least somewhat rationalize since I like cooler colors better on me (I have a warm toned complexion but I think the contrast of cool colors is nicer than the similarity of warm colors). But BareMinerals has been really good lately and the QVC one featured my favorite four letter word: S-A-L-E.

haha! The price was good plus low shipping cost! I didn’t get the Nordies one but I was tempted a little bit last night but totally convinced myself I’d likely not use the darker shades! I feel good I was able to resist. Can’t say the same for Pretty Vulgar. I ordered a palette, lipstick, concealer, and a few other pieces uh oh!

I prefer cooler tones too even though I have yellow-undertoned Asian skin (but I have pink ontop, which is weird. My face is pink and a shade darker than my neck; I’ve recently had to start matching my foundation to my neck instead of my face because it looks weird otherwise.)

I will probably order a couple of the Pretty Vulgar palettes but contrary to appearances, I’m trying to pace myself. But the day ain’t over yet.

haha! I’ve been really good lately with purchasing although I went a little wild with spring wardrobe additions eep!

I was temped, but it looks to close to the Wish List one that I have but a few differences . I just got Modern Renaissance and IT Superhero. Superhero has one dud in it. Musey, girl will you be reviewing your Pretty Vulgar? I passed on it. 😀

A gorgeous looking palette for sure, love all those gold shades.
