Givenchy Prisme Blush Highlight & Structure Arrive
Givenchy Prisme Blush Highlight & Structure Palettes ($46) hit the beauty airwaves today with a duo of shades that can be usd alone or together to sculpt, highlighter, and add color to cheeks and face. People, I haven’t though about a Givenchy Blush in years. Beauty confession, I used to be a massive Givenchy makeup h0r! There was something terribly appealing about their little square shaped eyeshadow palettes and blushes. Maybe it was the uniformed organization of it all or blame it on the Givenchy Diamantisimme Holiday Collection but something about the brand was terribly appealing to me ten or so years ago.
I dunno if these new duos quite capture my eye but here’s a look!
Givenchy serves up the new Prisme Blush Highlight & Structure Palette in eight different shades each of which has a lighter and darker shade. They are a little weird in the fact some shades have a lighter shade that would be suitable as a highlighter where as others have a bronzing shades of sorts and others have what appear to be two blushes. So, they aren’t really a cohesive palette collection that will work as they are intended to. Basically you’ll want to apply the first shade as a base and the second to diffuse the original application of the first shade. The colors can also be blended or layered together or you can contour and highlight with them. But, it really depends on which colors you choose because as I said not all of them will work in the same manner!
I’m not picturing this as a homecoming to Givency for myself. It’s been many years since they caught my eye and outside of their fragrance I’ve all but given up on their makeup range.
But I’ll keep hope alive!
Givenchy Prisme Blush Highlight & Structure are available now at neimanmarcus.com and should be available soon at Sephora.com.
