Ulta Foundation Adjusting Drop Kit To Lighten or Darken Foundations

OMG remember The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops? Ulta Foundation Adjusting Drop Kit ($18) is a cool duo that allows you to lighten or darken your foundation with these foundation adjusting drops. Ulta has a leg up on The Body Shop as they sell their drops as a duo where as the Body Shop sold their separately.

As you might have guessed you’ll use the darkening drops to darken foundation and the lightening ones to lighten foundation. These a great seasonal item to have around because if you tan easily in the Summer and need to darken your foundation up you can easily do so without having to buy an entire new foundation! Likewise, in the Winter when your skin is a lot less tan you can use the lightening drops to lighten up a darker foundation. Or even if you purchase the wrong shade foundation you can cocktail these drops in to adjust the color. It even comes with a little mixing palette!

Nifty right?

I thought so 🙂

Ulta Foundation Adjusting Drop Kit is available now at Ulta.com.

P.S. My sister took my dog to see the Easter Bunny this weekend while I was away. I think my dog was traumatized by the experience. She looks like she’s saying, “WHY ME?! WHY?” She did a little better with Santa, with the Easter Bunny she just looks terrified.

Haha!

Ooooo – neato peato!! I may have to scoop this up, esp. with one of the $3.50 coupons. ulta had an ad in the Sunday Paper, which our local paper saw fit to give me FIVE of – too bad the coupon there isn’t good for more than a couple weeks, if that! Bummer. But I may have to grab this soon, b/c I will be out in the sun and I have a bad habit of not reapplying sunscreen, so I always get some sun…. (whistles innocently….) and these would be great for tinkering with my foundation shades!

Cute doggie pic! I’m not sure they do the Easter bunny pics with pets near me.

That lightening shade looks like it would still be too dark for me. This concept would only really work for me if that shade was pure white (or darn close to pure white.) And that darker shade is’n going to do much good for people on the other end of the spectrum. So what’s the point if it really only works for people in the middle of the spectrum who could mix their ideal shade from already existing foundation shades.

I agree as the darkening drops is basically a concealer shade for me. NYX seems to be the only drugstore brand who has gone the right route for foundation adjusters.

I’d be traumatized too if I had to be held by that Easter Bunny. And why is it wearing a name tag? Your dog’s tiny eyebrows make her look so angry!

Those 2 shades don’t look light enough to help the super fair or dark enough for very deep complexions…interesting choices, Ulta. Cool idea with tha mixing palette though. I love looking at my old pictures with the easer bunny! I’m usually crying in them haha.

Noooo my poor fur baby niece!!! I hope she was placated with a puppaccino after that! 😀

Your poor dog looks terrified for good reason: that is the saddest, scariest looking “Easter Bunny” I’ve ever seen. It looks like the costume was purchased in 1972 and has been sitting in a moldy storage locker. And is that a name tag he is wearing? Why would the Easter Bunny need a name tag? It’s not like he’s going to be confused with some other big rabbit walking the mall this time of year. That is one serious bunny with issues…(and your dog might need therapy now).

Your little puppy dog is just precious beyond belief! And she looks adorable in her lil bunny suit, lol!

Cuter than Clover. (Not to mention you are way cuter and smarter than JB!) The EB is fauxer than Santa, so the apprehension is warranted! My two dachsies just got cinco de mayo serapes. Is that total cultural appropriation, or what? Just sayin’ they had no dirndls or lederhosen in stock!
