Hey, remember Rimmel Shake It Fresh Mascara from last week? Well, Dior Diorshow Pump’NVolume Mascara also offers you a a way to get your freshest mascara application and ensures the formula doesn’t dry out or force you into the my mascara stopped working phenomenon predicament.

So, how does it work? How does it keep my mascara fresh?

Apparently, we’ll be running into a lot of these newfangled mascaras that allow you to pump or shake the tube up that allows for a fresh mascara application each time. We all know that mascara dries out very fast not to mention it needs to be tossed rather quickly as well. These new formulas ensure you have a fresh, even coat of mascara each time that isn’t dried out or clump. With Rimmel’s new formula you simply shake the tube up for a fresh coat of mascara.

With Dior formula, you’ll be pumping the soft tube. Yes, it has a soft, squeezable tube. Apparently the tube allows the mascara to remain soft and fresh with each use thus you have a creamy application of mascara every single time.

This formula pumps up lashes and adds volume with bouncy elastic powders that give lashes length and soft, even fullness.

I have to admit the tube intrigues me! Although, I did try Rimmel’s take on this and I have to say it was horrible. I’ll have a review shortly but sadly, it just didn’t quite work out for me. Hopefully Dior’s is much better.

Well, some people don’t read directions, so they will pump the wand in/out and destroy it early! It says pump, so here we go! This does sound intriguing, and it’ll save you from having to cant the wand around inside the tube. A few mascs have tubes that are more like toothpaste. The wiper sphincter, if you will, has to be good, so you don’t get blobs.

Ugh. Just no. This looks like a solution in search of a problem. I have no issues getting “fresh” mascara. I replace my mascara every 3 months or sooner, if needed. These gimmicks are silly.
