About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Soooooo many new releases; I’m overwhelmed. I love the Beverly Hills one except for LBD. The last thing I need is yet another black eyeshadow that I will never use (too harsh on me). Wish that spot had the pretty dark plum called Canal in the last palette.

Between these, the Sunset palettes, and all the new and recent releases from Tarte, I can’t decide. Still waffling about Tarte’s Dream Big palette, because I’ve found so few true reviews of it. Sigh. Well, if I wait long enough, everything will either be on sale or out of stock! lol

Ordered the downtown one, but see quite a few others that I’d love as singles. Too bad virtually no one does that. The other three have only a shade or two I’d use, and the blushes don’t psych me in those, either. But this is one very exciting overall collection.

Reminds me of those city mini palettes that Stila used to do. I loved those!

  • Adrienne

These are too cute. I love anything portable and color coordinated so I don’t have to think about it. I see at least 1 palette I would like to try.

I think I’m going to order the Downtown LA palette. I also like the look of the Venice Beach one!

I think it would be about what blushes suit you in the series because the eye shadows looks as if they would work with any complexion. A good move by Lorac.
