About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Galifornia not. Did they change Dallas? Mine is dark puce and VERRRY hard to apply lightly. My benes are all depotted …everything historical except Hoola, which is so wrong on me. What I wanted was the set of glosses that coordinate with the blushes. They don’t even list lip products on their site map! TBT or flashback time. Had my face done by Jane, when Benefit was new and at Bendel’s. Not really into the direction they are taking now, but they seem to be holding their own. Their 1980s(?) lipsticks were great! Now it’s brows, brows, brows. I don’t see that they are equipped to take on abh in that dept. they are also almost tf in cutesy. Original focus (what came to be known as the fake-its) was almost corrective, and aimed at a more ‘adult’ market. Now, run by the twins’ daughters, it is a drastically different company. Blushes are still prob top drawer. I miss Georgia, and am hoarding my last scrap.
