About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. we need to have a brush party! LOL
And since they were bogo and there are only 5, I bought the cleaning pad too 😛

I have one by a different brand but it’s REALLY BIG and hard to work with….so I wanted to try this one. Also, I’ve been wanting to try these brush styles, but I could never find a set that I liked….I have so many RT brushes, I trust that these will be good

I think you’ll like it! I muse approved it when it first came out! I love it! ;-D We shall see! Looking forward to trying 😀

Is this style a learning curve thingy, or is it intuitive? They intimidate me a bit. More of Ulta killing it.

    • Isabella Muse

I found them very easy to work with (haven’t tried these, just general brush style). never felt like they were awkward or hard to use 🙂

Somehow, they scare me. They also make me think of Besame, as they seem so retro. Check out the coming Besame Snow White edition. Looks like their first foray into e/s, and the palette is true to the ?1937 Disney color scheme. It’ll go well with the beauty people liner set I got from Memebox. THAT Snow White looks just like I’d feel, if I had to put out the traditionally female skills for 7 small gents. Arms crossed over the chest and pouting.

I don’t know what I would do without your blog LOL
I rush to it every morning and check it like 5 times a day.
    I have issues LOL

  • Robin

Yes, Muse you are very addicting! LOL I need to start a no buy soon.

Ladies, check your Ulta rewards. I have a 5X points for Real Techniques products!!! I got them all as well as the last two Catrice Cushion lip glosses that I didn’t have. There are BOGO 1/2.

Ulta is kicking Sephora’s backside right now!! The only thing I want at Sephora is the Too Faced Peach foundation and two Marc Jacobs eyeliners. I’m waiting for their sales in Oct/Nov. I was a Rouge last year and now I’m barely a VIB because I been spending money at Ulta.

    • Isabella Muse

YES thanks Robin for the deets on 5x! 😀 LOL I’m always failing at no buys! miserably!

  • Maria

Muse. You said you have similar brushes. Does the foundation brush absorb a lot of the foundation liquid? Thanks. PS. I also read your blog a few times a day.

    • Isabella Muse

Thanks for reading so often Maria! 🙂 No, the brushes are packed densely which prevents the liquid from being absorbed completely in my experience!
