Almay Spring 2018 Featuring Palette Pops and Shadow Squad Eyeshadow

Almay Spring 2018 arrives today with a brand new selection of gorgeous Shadow Squad Eyeshadow Quads and Palette Pops featuring nine gorgeous shades of shadow. I’ve already reviewed the new Almay Best Blend Forever Makeup which I really enjoyed so, I’m hoping that’s a prelude to some of their other offerings this upcoming season! I gave it a Muse Approval because I was so impressed with the lightweight, comfortable coverage!

Almay to me always seems like a they concentrate heavily on their base collection and have few color options so it was a shocking and delightful surprise to see their new Shadow Squad Palettes launch in 15 shade selections. These quads are made up of four shades in matte and shimmer finishes. It also looks like they are re-promoting a lot of their Smart Shade items in new packaging.

    The quads seem like a good approach. I think they will be a love ’em or leave ’em, maybe depending on whether you like Almay formulas. You are always there for us w/these drugstore launches…and just in time for the latest Ulta coupon! Good time to try them.

      There are two reviews on Amazon of the shadow squad and they look decent. Frankly I’m pleased that they aren’t all super warm toned like everything else in the makeup world has been lately.

    I definitely want to try that mascara, and I love the idea of the shadow quads. Some days I feel like sparkling and some days I don’t. 🙂

    STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THE BROW color. I saw the new display of this brow stuff and mascara and was intrigued by the new brow concept especially since ive been growing my brows out the past few months. Came home and tried it, itas effin awful. Like tar in a tube. Against better judgment i tried it anyway thinking dont judge until you see end results. Well my brows looked hella fake and hella stupid like a bad tattoo. Then trying to peel it off, forget that! I actually lost some hairs from trying to peel and scrubbing this shit off! Basically tar colored wax stuck in my brows. So i returned it and grabbed the new mascara to try, test run tomorrow morning now that I’ve used up my previous mascara.

    The shadow quads have me mesmerized, even though I have so many palettes I feel like I must grab a few of them.. the different finishes.. love it

    I really want to see swatches of these quads, they’re a great concept.
