Sephora #Lipstories Lipstick $8 and Apparently Feels Like a Million Bucks

Sephora Lipstories Lipstick is a new $8 lipstick that the brand claims feels like a million bucks. Inspired by life, great adventures, and magical moments and memories this lipstick has a lightweight feel, is available in a variety of finishes (matte, cream, or metallic), and provides full coverage and pigmentation on a single swipe.

Each lipstick features different “stories” on the packaging and the labels showcase different places, states, countries, and more that act to create a memory of sorts when you wear it. Just like scent evokes a certain memory I guess Sephora hopes to achieve the same with your lipstick shade.

Sephora already created a few stories of their own featuring a variety of different shades. There’s a Holiday story which features recommendations for shades that give you that cozy, Winter-y vibe. There’s a Global Citizen story with shades recommended for road trips and travel. There’s a Brunch Day selection of shades that will get your day started on a lazy weekend. The idea is to create your own story and memory with each of the 41 shades by using the #lipstories hashtag on Instagram and across social media that documents your adventure.

I’m not even remotely skeptical about their marketing that says this lipstick formula is an affordable pick that feels like a million bucks. Why? Because Sephora has proven again and again they know how to create really great lipsticks like Sephora Rouge Balm and Mara Hoffman for Sephora Kaleidescape Tinted Lip Balm just to name two!

Sephora #Lipstories Lipstick is available now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ohmygosh! I love these already, and have a few in my cart. I hope they are as amazing as promised, and also wish they create one for Los Vegas.
Funny story, Vegas is the reason why I completely get this lipstick line. Whenever I go, I buy myself a new red lipstick… anyone I go with knows first stop is for #redlipstick (followed very quickly with a stop for drinks).

Whoa, the packaging for these is awesome. Almost all of them are sold out on the Canadian site. Will be bookmarking a few to get back to them when I’ve cut into a bit of my stash.
