By Kilian At Sephora and Yay for Discounts

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

A big yay that By Kilian fine fragrances and perfumes are now available at Sephora.com. Sephora has been adding to their niche catalog of fragrances for a while now and much to my delight today I noticed By Kilian pop up (now we need Creed and we’ll be good to go).

As the niche house is not cheap by any means of the imagination I was excited to see it being added to their catalog since that means come November when 20% Rouge Discount rolls around I can take advantage and the higher price will seem a lot less heavy!

I dunno about you but this makes me very excited.

I hope Sephora continues to add more niche fragrances houses to their line up!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Yay, I noticed that yesterday. I always get sucked in by the prose that accompanies each of their perfumes. LOL!

    • Isabella Muse

;-D quite happy as we can at least get sucked in at a discount come November!

  • Amanda

I keep hoping Byredo will get added to Sephora’s fragrance line-up. I’ve been dying to smell their scents for years and have yet to encounter them in the wild.

    • Isabella Muse

fragrancenet sometimes has a good deal on Byredo. Your best bet is to buy them during times like now when Neiman Marcus gifts you a gift card with purchase. That’s when I tend to knock off high end fragrance purchases as you can get a GC worth up to $200 or more from NM!

Real good idea. Will store that one for Creed Himalaya, and I think they have comptoir sud men’s too. Brilliant, girl, you are always thinking.

  • Rina

I’m conflicted… on one hand, I like that it might be discounted, but at the same time it also kinda tarnishes it for me. Like seeing Sunday Riley at Macy’s.. Guess I’m a snob…

I wish I had a scholarship to Creed. Not sure I can afford them, even at Sephora in November. Erolfa (and Comptoir Sud Aqua Motu are my summer faves.). Killians do appeal, too.

    • Isabella Muse

Buy it while at duty free, prices are like slashed 20%. I wait for duty free on Creed at all costs ;-D

  • Heather

I think it is kinda pathetic that we have to wait until November for a 20% coupon.

  • Lauren

Gosh dang $195 for a travel size. I wish they’d put it in a store to sample. At least I could sniff it and wear it out.

    • Isabella Muse

since Sephora started playing with niche brands I noticed during the Holidays they do great kits with samples for a great price. They might just do the same with By Killian 🙂

Creed would be great. I have just two perfumes, and both are Creed: Spring Flower, which they created for Audrey Hepburn, and Silver Mountain Water, which is more of a unisex scent. They last forever because you need such a small amount for it to last for hours and your perfume doesn’t arrive in a room before you do, but the price is horrendous.

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t like florals but Spring Flower was one of my first Creed purchases and remains a fav of mine ;-D

I’m actually looking for a citrus scent, if you have a rec. I’ve been obsessed with all things citrus for the past few months, from food to drink to finding a cologne or perfume.

          • Laurie

Thank you. I just want beautiful. I was going to check out Jo Malone, but will look into these too.

          • Isabella Muse

let me tell you a secret, but don’t tell Jo Malone, her stuff is beautiful but DOES NOT LAST! It fades so quickly 🙁 sad panda! Seriously, spend your $$ on a formula with a higher concentration of perfume.

          • Amanda

That’s funny, because on my skin, Jo Malone lasts all day and I can’t get the Atelier scents to stick more than 30 minutes or so! Body chemistry, I guess *shrug*

          • Isabella Muse

you are SO lucky! I can’t get Jo Malone anything to last on me.

          • kjh

I’m with Isabella on the atelier over Jo. The pomelo by comptoir sud is decent, as well.

          • Isabella Muse

I have so many of her scents and I really have to hose myself down to get them to last!

        • Swoozy

If you like citrus scents, you may also be interested in the Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo line. Bergamot is a nice lemony citrus. They also have Arancia di Capri, which I’ve never tried. The line is unisex and I like it since the scents are summery, but not cloying.

          • Isabella Muse

excellent suggestion Swoozy plus they layer and cocktail so beautifully!

  • Laurie

Good to know. I’ll look into atelier, even though I’m only ever 90% certain I’m pronouncing it properly.

  • Claudia

Have you heard of zulily.com? They have Byredo, by Kilian, comptoir, creed, bond no9 on there often and for about 30-40% off. Use my email if you sign up. Their sales change often like hautelook.

    • Isabella Muse

I have but never used it!!!!!! thanks for the heads up! Will def have a peek ;-D Always looking to add to my vast perfume collection ;D

      • Rina

They are good, but they are notoriously slow to ship. They put in the order and then it ships from the manuf. 99% of the time.

        • Isabella Muse

Hautelook can be slow at times too :-/ Bad if you want instant gratification 😀

          • Rina

True. But because they are Nords. I look at the Rack first before I place the order… Sometimes I get lucky!
