Look out cat lovers the new Covergirl x Katy Perry Collection will bring us a new Katy Kat Palette that launches shortly at drugstores and might be top on your list of must own items if you’re a cat lady or lad.

Earlier in January, Covergirl teased us with a new line of Katy Kat Gloss which are a selection of full pigment lipglosses that come packaged with thee most adorable cat head toppers. I actually didn’t realize they were planning to take the cat theme any further but they have did just that with a launch of these new Covergirl katy Kat Eyeshadow Palettes which have an adorable embossment of a cat.

Here’s an early look at these as well as the rest of the Covergirl x Katy Perry Collection that’s come to drugstores shortly.

Available in two shade selections the new Covergirl Katy Kat Palette ($10.99) contains ten shades each and appear to have the same soft, slurry eyeshadow formula that I know and love from the Covergirl Trunaked Eyeshadow Palettes that launched in 2015. These have a soft, creamy consistency that blends easily on lids. I’ve likened them to some of my favorite eyeshadows from Japan from brands like KATE and Lavshuca.

Most important, how adorable is the cute cat smack dab in the middle?

Along with the palettes, Covergirl is releasing a Katy Kat Wink False Lashes Collection ($6.99) which includes three designs inspired by various Katy Perry eye looks. Each lash set comes with lash glue for application.

And finally, there will be new Covergirl Katy Kat Glam Kit ($7.99) that comes with one shade of the new Katy Kat Gloss paired up with a lose glitter that can be applied on top of the gloss to create a bold, glittery lip look!

I hope these get to drugstores soon as I absolutely need those palettes! I also want to pick up one of the Glam Kits. Maybe keep it around for the Holidays! I wonder if I can pull off the glitter lip look hmmm….!

Covergirl x Katy Perry Collection is launching now at drugstores.

Love the eyeshadows. Too cute. I have to get these. I am a cat lover

I actually spotted these at my local Kroger grocery store last Sunday. I was marveling at how the cosmetics isle had been restocked. They have a bad habit of letting everything (and I mean everything) go out of stock before ordering more stock and restocking it. It had been bare since Christmas.

that’s horrible 🙁 I ventured into a Walmart that I’ve never been to before last week and it was seriously BARE! not only was the place a complete wreck, as if a tornado ran through it, but the cosmetic aisle had like one item on the display. It was beyond weird!

That’s how my Walmart is. It’s a fairly new store and the cosmetics aisle is pathetically tiny and always empty. What’s left has also been destroyed by people swatching or dropping things. There isn’t even enough room for two shopping carts to pass each other. They also don’t have Flower Beauty which makes me crazy.

I’ve been everywhere trying to find the katy kat eyeshadow, found the lip gloss and mascara, eyeliner etc. Went to Wal-Mart nothing, went to drugstores nothing. Just the basics. So frustrating. And I don’t want to order online is the only place I’ve seen it.

Not a fan of either Katy Perry or cats, so an easy pass. Although the colors in that first palette (earthy tones) are nice.

So cute! I want the palettes because they are so adorbs. Hope they have decent pigmentation. Not interested in the lashes.

  • Adrienne

These are adorable. I haven’t had much success with Covergirl but would buy the eye palettes and NOT use them because I want to keep the cats features. Silly I know, but still fun and gimmicky.

  • Dee

Those palettes! I have 3 kitties who own me! If I don’t buy these, they may scratch/bite my butt. LOL! No,,, These are adorable and I need these in my life. Soooo cute. 🙂

I watched a few reviews of the lip glosses when they first came out, and they were overwhelmingly unfavorable. I’d be interested in reading your take.

    • Isabella Muse

I actually reviewed the glosses already! Haven’t tried the eyeshadows yet!

  • Susan

Saw these in my local grocery store as well. I didn’t buy them because they are all shimmer and no matte transition shade, not interested in a palette that requires me to use another.

  • Jess

One of the palettes looks cool toned! I’m not a Katy Perry fan but a cool toned palette is very tempting.

  • Silvia

Not a Katy P. fan either but got excited when I spotted the lipglosses at Target. I did try the purple lipstick before this and didn’t like it at all so I won’t be getting any of her stuff. Cute but not great. The Cover Girl Jewel eyeshadows those did turned out good I got the roses, jewel and forgot the last one in gold/brown palettes shades nice!

  • Adrienne

I found these at Walgreens. I was actually more tempted by the glosses than the eye palettes.

  • Laura

I saw this post and I knew I needed to have the eyeshadow palettes as I am an avid cat LOVER. I found them at Rite Aid and purchased them immediately. Sadly, though, the eyeshadows are very chunky and crumbly. They seem more like eyeshadow toppers to me. Use your finger and dab them onto your eye. I will use them nonetheless because they are cat themed… And that’s about it.

    • Isabella Muse

oh no that’s terrible! I got some samples last night but haven’t yet tried them! I’m sorry to hear this Laura!
