Milk Makeup Watermelon Brightening Serum Launches

Looking to brighten up and hydrate your skin? The new Milk Makeup Watermelon Brightening Serum Stick contains watermelon fruit extract to hit your skin with a boost of hydration. Smooth this little baby right on from the stick and pat it gently into your skin. Apparently it diminishes the look of dark spots as well as smooths skin with peptide complex.

And that pink color though….!

It sounds interesting enough but I’m actually over the stick skincare trend. I think these make really good travel companions but I don’t find myself reaching for stick skincare as often as I do regular old bottled skincare. I’m actually still a strong lover of Tarte Frxxxtion Stick 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser but products like Milk Makeup Cooling Water and Milk Makeup Hydrating Oil Stick aren’t items I trend to reach for unless I am traveling in which case they come in major handy!

Milk Makeup Watermelon Brightening Serum is available now at sephora.com.

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m not a fan of stick skincare either but if they make a mini of this (or I get a sample size) that’s fine by me.

That grapefruit pink is luscious. In the Vogue Living book Tory Burch has (had, rather, at the time of publication) silk curtains that color. I think they’re gorgeous.

I realize it’s an extract, but doesn’t it sound like this stick would be really sticky, like a watermelon?

I saw those and adored them and suddenly wanted to paint one wall of my living room the same shade ;-D lol! I got past the obsession but I was close to doing it! I doubt sticky, likely absorbs quickly 😀

Hi Muse, thanks for the post! I am attracted to the colour and the packaging but I agree with you about the idea of skincare in a stick. It is just too causal and not pampering enough in my opinion!! If it has sunscreen and being marketed as hydration primer, I feel like people may be more interested. What do you think?

mmmm I dunno! Sunscreen in a stick isn’t my thing but maybe!?

I have oily skin, I don’t think I would need this, however it’s a pretty color. I got the milk glitter stick,
