Tarte Frxxxtion Stick 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser

Tarte Frxxxtion Stick 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser ($22) is a new, must have cleansing stick that acts as a exfoliator, cleanser, and face mask all in one.

And I think you need it!

Tarte Frxxxtion Stick

Cleanser sticks are becoming the hottest new skincare item to have in your routine! I’ll be the first one to say they sound like a gimmick but I dare you to use Tarte’s Frxxxtion Stick 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser and you’ll quickly become a believer. One of my main issues with cleanser sticks is the face you’re using and reusing them on your face. it seems like a breeding ground for bacteria but the hypoallergenic stick likely won’t stick around long enough for that to happen.

This formula is actually powered by the Rainforest of the Sea Cleansing Gel which was a little too drying for my skin. I had no such issues with the stick though. This is a fragrance-free gel stick that you can swipe around your face a few times. Your best bet is to swipe it down the sides of your cheeks, across your forehead, on your nose, and chin and use your hands to massage it in. You can just massage it around your face but I find it melts fast and the stick is small (1 oz) so, you’ll go through it very quickly using this method. Swiping it on and using your fingers to massage it around will keep your stick around longer.

I was just mentioning that Catrice’s new Blur Stick made my skin look incredible but it might just be a combination of that and Tarte’s Frxxxtion Stick that has my skin looking so bright and happy today (check out my Tarte x Hrush Palette Review and you’ll see for yourself! Or at least I thought my skin looked pretty amazing today!).

The stick contains diatomaceous earth microexfoliants that’s a form of a fossiled sea algae which helps to absorb oil. This worried me because I have drier skin and I was scared this would tighten up and dry my skin out. I had absolutely no such issues. It sloughs away the dry, flakier skin on my cheeks and while giving my skin and night deep cleanse. It starts off as a thin, grainy consistency and lathers up gently as you add water to it at which time it turns from black to gray. It rinses away and doesn’t leave behind any film or stickiness. My skin felt super clean, super smooth, and not tight ot stripped in the least.

You can use it as I did by applying and massaging onto damp skin or you can also use it as a mask. Simply swipe it on and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes while it absorbs express oil and dirt and rinse! Done! Sparkly skin!

I had admit I had strong reservations about a stick cleanser but Tarte Frxxxtion Stick 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser is blowing my mind today. I can see this becoming a staple item in my skincare routine. I wish it was a touch bigger because I think it’ll go pretty fast but I don’t care, I’d totally buy it again! If you need smoother, softer, brighter skin this is the fix to get it!

Loves this!

I will as well. Had I known it would have been hat great I would have snagged more at the 30% off price point. Have you tried the belief one? How does it compare?

I was like why did she write “massaging onto damn skin” in the fifth paragraph down and then I realized you meant ‘damp’ skin, haha. I can’t get into stick cleanses because I don’t like the thought of rubbing it and germs.

Ahh that seems so convenient! I love exfoliating cleansers and I think one reason I don’t use masks more often is…it’s an extra step :X haha I hadn’t seen this, thanks for sharing!

Way back when, JANE cosmetics had some skin care items and one of them was a stick just like this. I loved it so much and was very sad that it, and the whole skin care line, did not last long. 🙁

I remember that stick and loved it! It smelled good and was just gimmicky enough to make my pre-teen self want to wash my face!

Do you test your cleansers for pH? If so, do you know what the pH of this cleanser is? I am trying to stick to low pH cleansers, but I really want to try a stick cleanser.
