Sephora Colorful Eyeshadow Relaunches In Smaller Sizes for Cheaper Prices

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Sephora Colorful Eyeshadow have relaunched in smaller sizes at a cheaper price for Spring 2018. They also happen to have a new set of clothes that somewhat reminds me of Urban Decay’s hubcap design.

Sephora’s original Colorful Eyeshadow Collection was made up of a million shades. Well, not a million but well over two hundred of them. They were $10 bucks each and 0.07 oz in size. At this point there available in under 80 shades and come in your choice of glitter, shimmer, and matte finishes with an $8 price tag and each one is 0.042 oz in size. You can pop these out as well and add them to any magnetic eyeshadow palette you have handy or buy one from Sephora’s own collection, they have their own Z Palette!

Sephora seems to be aiming at going smaller on a lot of things lately! Their rather awesome $8 #Lipstories Lipstick Collection.

Sephora’s not exactly known for bringing us “budget beauty” picks so, why are they so interested in revamping and re-pricing their in house brand? Ulta competition? Some other reason? Hmmm!

None the less, if the Colorful Eyeshadow Collection is formulated as wonderfully as the Lipstories Lipstick I won’t mind the smaller size in the least as those lipsticks were wonderful.

Sephora Colorful Eyeshadow Collection is available now at sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. those look nice!! Does sephora make a palette with an insert with individual round holes for the shadows, like the one in the picture? I saw the Z palette, but I’d like one like they show there. Did a search on sephora and didn’t turn up anything. But that’s probably just me…. 🙂

No, not that I know if, that’s an Ulta one and you MIGHT be able to use these in that palette!

I liked most of the old formula ones I got. Best was an extension 8 pan with singles for my all-time fave neutral: Zoeva En Taupe. S house brand was a good way to get a single of colors unrepresented in stash…but, oh yeah, CP wears that crown now. In general, S house brand gets neglected, bec PAT! Francois! Wende! et al. Hope these are as good as the OGs.

So I was scouting the site for anything new and came across these. I clicked on a color in the glitter finish as it looked interesting then the name Unicorn Dust appeared above it and I was sold. I’ve been on the unicorn band wagon since I was little with epic pictures and posters adorning the rooms in my wall. and lisa frank everything. not so much with the makeup craze as of late. though this gave me a nostalgic feeling. I remember having this huge velvet picture all black with a majestic white unicorn and rainbow in the backround. Im pretty sure my mom still has it!
