L’Oreal Berry Much Love Palette Launches to Compete with Maybelline Soda Pop Eyeshadow Palette

If you ever felt there was a shortage of purple have no fear the L’Oreal Berry Much Love Eyeshadow Palette and Maybelline Soda Pop Eyeshadow Palette will fill the purple eyeshadow void at your local drugstore soon!

Maybelline was quick to bring us news of their purple berry themed Soda Pop Eyeshadow Palette quick on the heels of the release of the Lemonade Crazy Palette. And of course, in true competitive nature, L’Oreal gets in on the theme with the launch of the Berry Much Love Eyeshadow Palette. They aren’t spilling details about the launch but I suspect it’ll be a Fall 2018 release so expect it later this Summer. This brings L’Oreal’s tally of “scented” eyeshadow palettes up to three with the mass launch of LOreal Paradise Enchanted Fruit-Scented Eyeshadow Palette today as well as the new Cherry My Cheri Eyeshadow Palette.

Maybelline, you gots to catch up!

There’s no word if this palette will also be scented but I would imagine it’ll be since L’Oreal and Maybelline seem to be pulling a Too Faced on us lately with the scented makeup palette releases.

Whether you love these or hate fact of the matter is they do induce a certain need to “catch them all” pokemon style. I got my Paradise Enchanted Fruit-Scented Eyeshadow Palette in the mail recently and so far it looks like it might prove a keeper. The shadows appear to have a creamy slurry consistency much like the ones we’ve seen in Maybelline’s Lemonade Crazy palette and their recent City Palettes. I totally love this formula since I’m quite a fan of Japanese eyeshadows which tend to embrace a similiar texture!

What do you think of the L’Oreal Berry Much Love Eyeshadow Palette?

Worth a haul?

It’s on my list that’s for sure!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. In general, Ms Is, which do you prefer, the Mayb or the L’oreal? (As to the current formulations….)

This new Loreal one looks nice. I like that it has cool tones. Waiting for your review.

Oooh this looks so pretty. I just wish this stuff would become available soon because by the time it reaches the stores I often have moved on to the next seasons colors.

I am not a fan of scented eyeshadows (why?) and there’s not much about L’Oreal eyeshadows that I like since the Infalliable range (that are still stellar).
The last Maybelline palette you reviewed Muse, was quite, suprisingly, good.

I can’t wait for this berry-toned palette! I hope they release it sooner rather than later!

  • Silvia

I wouldn’t want the slightest scent on my eyes wouldn’t want to be blinking one at strangers in public being sensitive to it. I already have many shades of purple from Nyx so I’m actually resisting any eyeshadow purchases for a while and if everything else but they look pretty and probably are a keeper too! Lol!

The new ABH Norvina palette, just announced, looks very similar to this one! Think I’d rather have the L’Oreal.
