Milani Launches Facial Oils and Rose Blush Trio Palettes

Milani Prep + Brighten Rose Face Oil and Prep + Soothe Camellia Face Oil are two new facial oils that brand recently launched for Spring 2018 along with two different Rose Blush Trio Palettes.

I was quite excited to see these pop on their website last night and quickly ordered a few things because Milani has 15% Off at the moment with promo code shineon.

I find it interesting drugstore brands are kind of migrating towards skincare this Spring. Physicians Formula has already done this with a number of releases this past few weeks such as the Charcoal Detox Cleansing Stick, Refreshmint Cooling Stick, and a range of other items.

Milani is now doing the same with their new range of facial oils. They’ve made these available in two formulas for $14 each.

Milani Prep + Soothe Camellia Face Oil is a blend of Grapeseed, Camellia, Sunflower, and Sweet Almond Oils that promises quick absorption and a weightless feel that can be used on your face, body, or hair.

Milani Prep + Brighten Rose Face Oil is a blend of Vitamin C, Sunflower, Apricot Kernel, Sweet Almond, and Crambe Abyssinica Oils which brightens and balance your skin leaving behind a dewy glow.

I got the email yesterday about these blush palettes but I am wondering if the colors are new because I already own all of these blushes. Unfortunately they do not list the color names of the blushes on their website and I don’t want to buy shades I already own. I really wish companies would clarify things like that.

I wish they would too! They seem new but not sure! When I get them will confirm!

*runs in circles flapping arms in excitement* WOOT!! All of those look gorgeous! I love the rose blushes – I so hope they’re new colors, as I want to spend more money on MU!! (wait, wut??….) 😀 And the face oils – Oooooo… I am so into facial oils right now its ridiculous!! can’t wait to hear what you have to say about it all, Muse!!

    are they here yet? 😀

The Vitamin C derivative in the Prep + Brighten oil (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate) is pretty low in the ingredient list, making me wonder how much is actually in the formula. This is a lipid soluble kind, meaning it likely has a better affinity for skin absorption, but I get the impression there’s a really small amount actually formulated in so I’m wondering how truly effective it would be. THAT BEING SAID! There are some really nice oils in both formulas, though sensitive skins may want to note there are citrus oils in there that maaaaaaay be a bit irritating, though they are buffered with some good carrier oils.
The first one will do what it says on the tin, second (Prep + Brighten) feels a tad bit more marketing gimmick.

Whoa! Hold up — did you see the Mother’s Day special where you get the blushes, the oil and a bag for $22????

Love these. I’ve been searching for some more peachy-toned blushes, and I already have a couple of the single-pan rose ones. Who the heck ever thought up the fabulousness of these — the shades, the shapes, the formulas are great at a drugstore price point!!

Uhhh! I also already own all of the single rose blushes and need to find out if these are different shades they do look like it that pink shade looks very light on the lighter shade palette. If they are different and towards peachy/pink I’ll be getting both! Not sure on the oils I do have sensitive skin so I’ll be checking out reports. Price is not bad! But roses will be coming to my garden! Lol!
