Tarte Pop Amazonian Clay Blush Set & Brush

I’m a bad person because I noticed the Tarte Amazonian Blush is on sale at macys.com and I was like, “Wow! I hope this means they are going to discontinue them!” Ok, don’t throw anything at me! I love them as much as you do but I already own most of them and it has literally been ages since Tarte updated their blush collection.

Wouldn’t it be nice if they revised the formula, repackaged it, and introduced some new shades? Glisten is one of my very favorite shades but it is one of the few shades in the line with shimmer. I’d love to see a few more shimmery shades.

I really am of the mentality that if it works, don’t fix it. But in this case, I really think a refresh on Tarte’s Blush Collection would be a good thing. Instead of spending time introducing useless products like Maracuja Gold Oil wouldn’t it be great to spend some of that time and energy on revising the blush collection?

Of course, revising the blush line shouldn’t consist of slapping together a collection with a low calorie formula that’s going to disappoint us all. And most important, make me eat my words here for asking for a new line of blushes. Because as I said if it isn’t broken no need to fix it. But if they can introduce a fresh new selection of blushes with an even better formula I’d totally be a happy girl indeed.

None the less, this is pure speculation and maybe this sale is just a sale. Nothing more, nothing less.

As of now Tarte Amazonian Blushes are $21 and shipping free at macys.com. If you don’t own it already, get Glisten, thank me later 🙂

Yep agreed ! Tarte amazonian blushes are the equivalent of like Revlon lip butters, as an example . They’re great products but I think the time has come to revamp . Personally, while I love the few I have , I never reach for them anymore, and I dont know why , bc they are FAB!

ITA! They are a bit overdone. Tarte has been revamping a lot of stuff but haven’t touched the blush! I can see why, as it is a fan fav! But it’s about time now!

Agree! I love them too and just pass over them now vs Nars, Hourglass, etc. Don’t know why I’m eh… Tarte Exposed I used to use daily.

I love Glisten too! Beautiful shade. I agree, I think a revamping would be great. I would love to see updated packaging like they do with the eye palettes. The blush packaging is pretty boring & a bit cheap feeling to me. New shades would be awesome in the permanent collection.

Glisten is just divine! Likewise! It seems like the packaging has been there for ages! Something new would really refresh the brand!

Muse, do you have a firmer blush brush that you recommend for these that won’t poke sensitive skin? I love these but I don’t use these too often BC they’re so hard and I frequently need a firmer brush to apply. But on me, they DO last 12 hours, don’t fade patchily, and don’t change color: much better than some other blushes in my collection. If they could remake these to not develop that hardened outer layer after frequent usage it would be nearly perfect.

Hi Maggie! Try the Cheek & Contour Brush #25 from Lancome. One side has this flat, dome shaped brush that’s really great for tabbing into harder blushes like these! hope this helps!
