NARS Singapore and Mojave Fall 2018 Eyeshadow Quads Are Pretty But I Long for a New Blush

NARS Fall 2018 launched today and it’s a fairly small collection that includes two NARS Eyeshadow Quads in the shades Singapore and Mojave as well as the 7 Deadly Sins Audacious Lipstick Palette but I can’t help but long for a new blush (or two, or three!).

Don’t get me wrong I’m still having a Summer fling with NARS Loves Me Blush but some lovely rusty peach shade for Fall would be lovely and I’m all about Fall now that the end of July is here. Bring on the pumpkins, the lattes, the leggings, and soft sweaters, but most important bring on the warm shades of blush! I’m ready! Let’s do this!

Sadly, NARS Fall 2018 seems rather tiny this year so I suspect we’ll see more from them mid or end of August. Or at least I hope we will! I could use more NARS Blushes (not really, as I own plenty already but you know how it goes for a makeup addict! Always on to the next great thing).

The eyeshadow quads may prove uneventful if you’re not into nudes but I see some promise in the luscious cranberry and copper tones of Singapore.

And for the lipstick palette fans you’ll enjoy mixing and matching the seven shades of Audacious Lipsticks in this palette that are inspired by the seven deadly sins although, I think NARS took some liberal with the sins!

Shades:

  • Pride (tan pink)
  • Disobedience (pink candy)
  • Idolatry (nude peach pink)
  • Greed (cherry red)
  • Foolishness (vivid crimson red)
  • Wrath (burgundy red)
  • Sloth (deep blackberry)

Please NARS can’t we get a new blush shade for Fall too?

I guess they’re relaunching their eyeshadow singles and doubles – still not a blush, but I’m looking forward to it!

This makes me feel old….7deadly sins was Poppy King’s original lipstick range, ~1990? (Lipstick Queen’s debut/eponymous line, for you young’uns.) Not a big fan of lipstick palettes. Not protected enough and go off easily. And Audacious formula seems a bit moist for staying in the wells in a palette. I have to keep the original shades palette in the fridge. Agreed that we need new Nars blush, even though we have >20! Is the palette rubberized?

I had a laugh reading KJH’s comments as I too remember Poppy King’s range of lipsticks called the 7 deadly sins back in the 90s! Like KJH, I dislike lipstick palettes and never use them. If you want to reapply during the day it is ridiculous having to carry a whole palette in one’s bag. I adore NARS blushes and would love to see some new ones, so I am joining your campaign Isabella for some new ones.
