Becca Glow Kitchen Kit ($44) is a new, limited edition created in collaboration with Chrissy Teigen that contains four festive Holiday scented makeup products for eyes, face, and lips. I have to admit Holiday makeup and beauty sets can be very repetitive for me. A value? Yes! But when you’re a makeup junkie you end up having a lot of the items included in these sets. They just aren’t unique enough to warrant a purchase.

However, I didn’t feel that way about Becca x Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit! I was quite excited about this set and eager to purchase it!

First off, I love Chrissy! She’s gorgeous, she has the cutest babies in the world, she’s married to John Legend, she loves desserts (and can cook them without poisoning anyone!), and she’s not afraid to let her goofy flag fly. What’s not to love about her? I loved all the collections she’s done so far with Becca particularly the Glow Face Palette!

She’s brought a lot of fun to Becca and I was happy to see she’d be collaborating with them for Holiday 2018 on two different sets inspired by treats of the season. The Becca x Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit contains all the things I love about the Fall and the Holiday season. Although a Holiday set, I felt like the shades and items included reminded me of pecan pie, yummy Christmas cupcakes, Thanksgiving, and other festive and yummy Holiday treats! The colors are all warm and Fall friendly! Perfect for Thanksgiving gatherings!

The collection comes housed in a gorgeous gold box ready for gifting with a pull put recipe card for Cinnamon Sugar Cookies!

Inside you’ll find:

  • Glow Souffle Eye Shadow in Cinnamon Churro/Face Highlighter in Cinnnamon Churro Duo
  • Lip Soufflé in Red Velvet
  • Confectionary Glow Powder in Cinnamon Sugar

Becca x Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit Swatches (Face Highlighter in Cinnnamon Churro, Lip Souffle in Red Velvet, SugarGlow Souffle Eye Shadow in Cinnamon Churro, Confectionary Glow Powder in Cinnamon)

Possibly the best part of this collection is the fact it’s all scented! Yes, I know, not everyone loves the idea of fragrance in their makeup but I think it’s quite novel and adorable not to mention it really makes this collection oh so much more fun! The lipstick has vanilla scent and flavor, the Confectionary Glow Powder smells like cinnamon sugar, and the Face Highlighter in Cinnnamon Churro Duo smells like cinnamon buns! It all smells good enough to eat! The eyeshadow is the only item that contains no fragrance.

I think that Becca is sadly lacking in the eyeshadow world as they concentrate very heavily on facial makeup but I’m just throwing it out there if they want to create a few more Glow Souffle Eye Shadow shades I’ll buy them! First off the shade is gorgeous! It’s a warm, lovely golden brown. It’s smooth, velvet, easy to apply, and pigmented. The shadow comes in a stackable jar that features a flip top lid which holds a mirror and the eyeshadow on the top and the base unscrews to reveal the soft, fluffy souffle highlighter under it. This is a bouncy cream souffle texture that applies easily and sets to a powder finish! The warm golden huge is perfect to highlight eyes as well! Although sensitive users beware as it does have a strong (and yummy) cinnamon bun scent.

Speaking of highlighter there’s also a loose powder one in this set called Confectionary Glow Powder in the shade Cinnamon Sugar! And yes, it smells like cinnamon sugar 🙂 Delicious! This is pretty light golden bronze. It applies perfectly without clinging to my drier areas and giving me a warm glow!

And finally another of my favorite items in this set is the Lip Souffle in Red Velvet! It’s the perfect reddish brown! I love the lightweight whipped texture which I didn’t find drying and set to a matte finish without adhering to my natural lip lines or dryness plus was easy enough to wipe off and reapply!

I just love the way this collection comes together so well! The colors just work well together and give me all sorts of Holiday dessert vibes!

I’m Muse Approving it! I’d totally recommend picking this up!

    Hi Muse!

I tried this set last night at Ulta and must say I LOVED the cinnamon bun scent in the eye soufflé! I ended up passing because I could not smell the cinnamon sugar at all in the highlighter so I was disappointed in that! The lip shade was pretty but already have similar shades and again that scent was very light too.

Does your highlighter have a strong scent like the eye soufflé? Maybe I smelled a batch of the highlighter that got missed because I’m not kidding, there was no scent it!? I even went back a few times to make sure it wasn’t my nose, but nothing. The eye soufflé smelled SOOO decadent though!

ME TOO! It smells amazing 🙂 Really? It’s fairly strong for me! It could be it was left open in store or something maybe! I know when I first opened it I got nothing but when I shook it out I got a nice strong cinnamon sugar fragrance!

  • Deb

Muse, these look great on you! In your face pics, the lip soufflé looks like it has a slight sheen. Did it dry down that way? Or did you top with a little gloss?

    • Isabella Muse

aw thanks Deb! no, it was still a little wet after application :-/ It does set matte but looks almost satiny!

  • Kish

This whole set looks amazing on you! Such pretty colors and it’s nice to see something different from Becca.

I bought it during the sale and love it. I am not really into Chrissy per se. Dont follow her at all but the collaborations have been nice and i have wanted to try it for a while . This set is perfect for me and for work use. I have used it twice already and loving it

    • Isabella Muse

YAY! I loved it too! I don’t think you even need to know who Chrissy is to enjoy it! All her releases with Becca so far have really been spot on 😀

i’m on a Muse kick right now and just reading all the ‘Muse Approved’ posts. as of today, 1/30/19, this is still on sale @ Sephora. this set is one of those ones where i want so bad, but the lip product is a little too deep in color for my liking. i keep swatching it in-store hoping that i just grow to like it, but i just never do. ::::Sigh::::: because i really do love the hi-lighter and eye product in this set!! now that its on sale, i keep thinking if its worth it to buy it at $29, even though i wont use the gloss. decisions, decisions! makeup stuggle is real with this one. lol
