Milk Makeup Launched New Skincare and I’m Feeling Like a Sucker

Why am I such a sucker for new skincare? Sigh! When Milk Makeup originally launched I purchased quite a few of their skincare pieces like their Hydrating Oil and Cooling Water but wasn’t terribly impressed with the performance or ingredients.

Fast forward and here we are headed into Spring 2019 and Milk has decided to launch a new round of products that I find myself sort of wanting! I spoke about these briefly last week but they have now launched at Sephora.com as well and I have a gift card burning a hole in my pocket.

I can scratch the Milk Makeup Matcha Detoxifying Face Mask ($24) off my list since it ideal for my skin type. But I do want the Watermelon Brightening Face Mask ($24) which is watermelon extract that brightens, hydrates, and evens out skin tone aka it likely does nothing. I keeping remind myself that Olay’s new Fresh Reset Pink Mineral Complex Clay Face Mask Stick promises me a lot of the same and I noticed no difference in my skin tone after using it!

Also, on my list are the new Cooling Water Eye Patches ($22) which are drawing me in with that “cool water” marketing. I’m thinking bursts of hydration under my tired eyes! Apparently these contain caffeine which is always great for depuffing. Yeah, these I might need talking down the ledge on as I see myself hitting submit.

Anyone indulging in the latest Milk Makeup Skincare picks?

Have you tried their skincare before?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
