Bath & Body Works Protective Hair Perfume Make Your Tresses Smell Pretty

4 stars out of 5

Ahhh Bath & Body Works every always creating something new and exciting. For Spring 2019, Bath & Body Works launched several new Protective Hair Perfume fragrances for $16.50 each. These were created not only to give you hair a delicious little fragrance but they also contain aloe and a UV absorber to protect and soften hair. I have no idea if they work! It hasn’t quite been hot or sunny enough for me to say if my hair feels or looks terribly different using these.

I did buy them solely because I love the idea of hair perfume anything! I tend to migrate towards hair fragrances and perfumes because I have longer hair. And yes, you don’t see that very often on my blog as I tend to wear my hair up and away from my face but when I’m out and about it’s down and I like to have it delicately scented with something or another. My favorite for scenting my hair is using Lush Happy Happy Joy Joy Conditioning Hair Perfume. I can’t tell you how many compliments I get when I wear it. And my BF is always quick to say, “Damn your hair smells amazing!” ;-D

A long time ago, in a land not too far away, Pantene made this incredible hair fragrance. It was sort of a pioneer as the drugstore didn’t actually have hair fragrance way back in the day. Oh hell, no one did! So, really it was pretty damn innovative. So innovative that I hauled many a bottle when they discontinued it. Pantene, if you’re reading this, BRING IT BACK!

Anyway, Bath & Body Works Protective Hair Perfumes are pretty subtle compared to some hair fragrances but they are nice none the less. You can use these on wet or dry hair! I’ve heard that people feel they are sticky but I didn’t experience that at all! They add a touch of hydration to my drier hair and leave it smelling quite pretty. The coconut is probably my favorite as it smells all tropical yum! I purchased these during a sale as I would never pay $16.50 for a single bottle! You can snag them during BOGO offers at Bath & Body Works. I hope they churn out some new scents but this is likely a limited edition deal! Honestly, if they do these in pumpkin or fall scents towards the end of the Summer I’ll buy a case! Ha!

Get these now at Bath & Body Works!

Anyone try ’em?

Do you remember the 80’s commercial for Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific? With this guy shoving his nose in random women’s hair? Today the ad just seems creepy and the guy looks like a perv lol! It’s on YouTube.

I don’t! I’ve only seen the commercials on youTube! I actually don’t even remember the shampoo at all but I recently purchased it from Vermont Country Store and love it haha! But yeah, random guys smelling your hair totally creepy nowadays lol !

May definitely try if they’re ever on sale! I currently have the carols daughter hair hibicus perfume and other than scent, i dont feel like it’s much to brag about. I literally never go to b&bw but i may have to now!

I think Carol’s Daughter weakened their formulas a bit :-/

I love hair perfumes. I’m sensitive to body products with perfume but hair items are fine! These scents don’t really appeal to me but I hope they release others in the future. This is a great afforable alternative to Sephora items and Fekkai.
