Tarte Adelaine Morin Eye & Cheek Palette for Spring 2019

The Tarte Adelaine Morin Eye & Cheek Palette for Spring 2019 arrived yesterday and I’m feeling old again because this is another youTuber who I’m utterly unfamiliar with. I need to start watching more youTube videos for reals though.

Adelaine is a 21 year old Canadian youTuber who does a little bit of everything on her blogging including beauty. Her palette is all about bright shades for Spring/Summer looks. Tarte is really outside their comfort zone lately with all these bright palettes they’ve been launching like Remix Pro and Icy Betch!

Some of the shades in this palette are actually really fab and I can see myself using them to create a fun sunset look!

Shades include:

  • Adelangels (matte cream)
  • Mama Morin (matte tan)
  • conTOUR (matte warm brown)
  • Red Eye Flight (burgundy shimmer)
  • Boss Lady (matte burnt orange)
  • Law of Attraction (yellow shimmer)
  • Beep Bop (matte dark brown)
  • Beautiful, Magical, Wonderful (copper shimmer)
  • Promise Ring (opalescent highlight)
  • I Feel Beautiful (rosy pink blush)

The Tarte Adelaine Morin Eye & Cheek Palette is rather nicely priced at $39 and it’s available now!

Will you be indulging?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. That cardboard packaging is a huge disappointment from a company known for their pretty palettes. Last year’s gorgeous Aspyn Ovard collab was also $39. This one looks like it belongs in the Sugar Rush line, for about $24. Or you could just buy Colourpop’s “Yes, Please” for $16!

I didn’t even notice that it was cardboard! Good call out! Too true, Aspyn’s compact was gorgeous in comparison!

Exactly. Another peach/bronze themed overpriced palette. Yawn indeed…

Can someone please explain to me yellow eyeshadows? I’ve never been able to make a yellow work on me. Gold, yes. Light lemon, yes. But not yellow-yellow.

I think yellow eyeshadow can be truly stunning, on darker skins. On pasty white chicks like myself, it just looks like I’m channeling Effie Trinkett.

It reminds me of the Maybelline’s Lemonade Craze palette, which I think seems more versatile.
