I have a new favorite lipgloss and it’s Stila Beauty Boss Lipgloss! Just give me all the shades! Stila Beauty Boss Lipgloss launched a few short weeks ago in 12 shade selections for a mere $15 each. It’s been a while since any mid or high-range lipglosses caught my eye but this formula is divine! I was boring and got it in a cream formula one of the few shades available without sparkle of some kind and I have to admit I wish they had more cream finish shades as this is gorgeous, easy to wear, quite beautiful! Don’t get me wrong, I love me some sparkle but I also enjoy really pigmented lipglosses that look like lipstick but have a super shiny finish sans shimmer or sparkle.

Stila Beauty Boss Lipgloss (0.11 oz) arrives in a square tube with a sponge-tipped applicator for application. According to the brand the 12 shades are available in cream and shimmer finishes with different levels of opacity and pigmentation. I only picked up the shade Win-Win which is a cream finish that’s quite pigmented. Oddly enough, it’s the only shade that’s cream! There’s also a clear shade that’s completely shimmer free but the rest of the ten shades are all about sparkle and shimmer. I do hope Stila sees the hole in the line and does a few more cream finishes as if they are all like Win-Win in formula I wouldn’t mind picking up a few more. I’d love a nude shade, maybe a nice orange, and of course, a red.

Stila Beauty Boss Lipgloss Swatches (Shade: Win-Win)

I can’t say enough good things about the texture of this gloss. Hydrating, creamy, easy to apply, very smooth, and super shiny with excellent color pay off and a wear of at least five hours with a very light vanilla flavor this was a joy to apply, use, and wear. The shine factor is what really gets me! I love a liquid lipstick-like gloss formula that feels not only hydrating on my lips but packs the pigment of a regular lipstick but has the shine of a lipgloss.

All in all, Stila Beauty Boss Lipgloss was a wonderfully formulated lipgloss that I’m Muse Approving!

Loves this one.

Where to buy

Macy’s Sephora Ulta Beautylish Nordstrom

Stila Beauty Boss Lipgloss is available in 12 shades which are $15 each and 0.11 oz in size. This formula comes in shimmer and cream finishes although, from what I’ve seen from the range the only cream shade is the one I purchased called Win-Win. I loved this gloss! It’s pigmented, glossy, lightly hydrating, comfortable to wear, and leaves my lips with gorgeous color and shine that wears for a nice five hours. It isn’t tacky nor sticky and has a nice creamy texture that applies easily with a smooth, even finish!

Pros

  • Glossy, pigmented, hydrated.
  • Wears easily without being tacky nor sticky!
  • Fantastic formula overall!

Cons

  • A little lacking in the finish department! All shimmers, only one cream!

Who

Stila Beauty Boss Lip Gloss is perfect for anyone who likes a beautifully formulated lipgloss that’s creamy and long-wearing!

I bought this in whitespace. I LOVE the look it gives my lips but it feels like it’s slightly nicking my lips. I have 4 Smashbox gloss Angeles glosses on the way so I’m hoping they’ll be what I’m looking for.

It feels slightly like very fine cuts. I’m thinking it’s from the shimmer. Other than that, I love it.

INTERESTING! Maybe I didn’t experience that bc I tried a cream one!

Oh no! I hate it when you can actually feel the glitter in a gloss or lipstick …

I ordered Win-Win too and I really love it. I need to get to Ulta or Sephora to swatch some of the sparkly shades to see what I think of those.

I have this gloss in “Payday,” a shimmery fuchsia/magenta, and I love it!
The color is unique and gorgeous (I love shimmer), and the gloss is nicely emollient but minimally sticky and feels comfortable for hours.
The pleasant vaguely fruity scent/taste is a plus, also.
$15.00 is steep even for a high-end standout gloss like this one, but I can deal – I’m already looking at the red one!
