The Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 Lipstick Collection arrives today and I feel like I need them all! Swoon! These 11 shades come in five different collection, refillable cases. Each Hot Lips 2 Lipstick is $37 with case and refills are $25.

Charlotte Tilbury has pledged 1 Million from the sales of the Hot Lips 2 Lipstick Collection to the Women for Women International Charity. The Women for Women International is a nonprofit humanitarian organization provides moral support to women survivors of war.

Each shade is inspired by different icons but let’s just hope one isn’t named Brooke haha!

There is one major problem with this collection! All the shades look like they’ll work for me! Ugh! No but seriously, the shades look like they’d be universally flattering across a very wide range of skin types. Which means we’ll be broke wanting all the shades 😉

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I got J.K Magic overnight shipping I was amazed, its beautiful , the casing is gorgeous , I was tempted tempted to buy Amazing Amaral but I dont wear wines anymore due to work

    • Isabella Muse

UGHH jealous! I really need a few of these. They look so wearable!

Amazing Amal is my favorite. I had samples of the originals but never bought one. Now I might get an original and a new one.

Oh boy… I need more coffee…. I read that last one as “viva la viagra” – Yikes……. 😀 I really like a couple of those and may actually indulge!!

Do you get to choose the case, or does each one just come in whatever case CT puts it in? Just curious… Enquiring minds what to know!!

    • Isabella Muse

haha! I dunno I was just about to explore further because it says you can mix/match cases but I don’t see that option? I have to look a little deeper! I was just popping shades willy nilly in my cart because I was worried they would sell out lol!

It can’t be just me that is confused about this product. I thought that you would be able to pick the cartridge, pick your lipstick color, and then checkout. I didn’t realize that the case was specific to a color when initially sold and that you would essentially have to pick either the case or the color and not both. Wasn’t this the whole point of the refillable cartridge?

I want to buy the Jennifer Aniston color as well as Olivia Palermo; however, I’m a bit peeved at the idea of having no choice in the refillable cartridge. I may as well just buy the lipstick that comes with the cartridge that I like and then just purchase refills of the colors I like….but I will stick to my principles and not buy.

    Dang!

that’s what I didn’t get because they market it as “pick and choose” but in reality you can’t. I guess once you use the lipstick you can replace them with the shade you want but I’m a little disappointed I couldn’t choose my initial case but meh I guess I’m ok with it.

I bought Amazing Amal and on my lips it looks nothing like the swatches. It’s a corally pink, not a wine, and is a near dupe for Secret Salma. I’m disappointed.

These are beautiful. I’ve never looked into it C.T. gets permission to name her make-up after celebrities but I read Brooke Shields said she was suing because C.T. named an eyebrow shade Brooke and you know it has to be Brooke Shields since her eyebrows were iconic when she was a Calvin Klein model & after. Brooke said she did not give permission to use her name. She said she’s starting her own eyebrow line. We’ll see what happens w/this.

    • Isabella Muse

Yup. I wrote about that a few weeks ago when it happened! Pretty crazy!

I just watched Wayne Goss do swatches. When he got to JK Magic, which you know is JK Rowling he said “hope you got permission”. I hope she got permission too.
