Maybelline x Ashley Longshore Loyalist + Pioneer SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick Kit Arrive for Fall 2019

Maybelline x Ashley Longshore Loyalist + Pioneer SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick Kit have launched and even though I hate the formula I simply need these as an Ashley Longshore fan girl.

If you take the St. Charles Streetcar and drop off in the Garden District you can walk a few blocks past the Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 to get to Magizine Stree but you might to sit a spell, spend time at the Karstendiek Family tomb you might just see a famous vampire lurking there. Or wander over to the Mayfair Witches tomb perhaps they’ll offer you a nice potion to revive a long since dead one! Don’t forget to take a peek in the Garden District Bookstore before leaving for Magazine Street! Tucked on the shelf with the Anne Rice novels you’ll find a book of photos and memories of the many Anne Rice launches and signings including ones of her funeral because if nothing else we all want to have a jazz funeral am I right?

Walking a few blocks in the Nawlins heat isn’t my favorite past time and even though there are many trees in the Garden District for shade and the beautiful buildings will take your breath away it still feels like that small walk is a rather long one. Thankfully enough once you arrive at your final destination many of the shops have air conditioner. Phew! But the street is long and it runs for six miles. Some people actually do the entire walk because the antique and vintage shops are just so worth browsing one at a time. Magazine Street is probably one of the more unique shopping locations you’ll find in the city. Of course, there’s always Uber but you’ll miss out on all that beautiful scenery!

Among those shops you’ll find what looks like a little white one story house with a glittery pink sign hanging from it that says “Ashley Longshore”. Ashley may very well be our own modern day Andy Warhol with her bright colored pop culture pieces of art. All the pink, glitter, and loud vibrant shades are very appealing to my girlish good nature. I have a very small print I purchased several years ago that hangs in my kitchen pantry. It cost me a kidney but I do so love it.

I hate Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick with a passion. It feels so tacky and sticky not to mention matte and the long-wear just isn’t for me because I want to remove it as soon as I apply it. But since Ashley designed the packaging on these new duo sets I must have them!

There are two sets available each is $18.98 and includes two full-size liquid lipsticks!

The sets are:

Ashley’s lovely gift sets are available exclusively online at Ulta.

I do believe I need both!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. as a NOLA girl, I love the bit about the cemeteries and antique shops. I have lived here for 15 years and never been to that bookstore on Prytania. I pass it up all the time and keep saying I need to go check it out but it never happens 🙂

let me know next time you are in NOLA! you should host a nola event for your nola followers to meet and greet!

No way!? really? GO! ;-D It’s charming! It feels like bookstores are going the way cassettes and cds did. E-book readers sucked the charm right out of them. It’s nice to visit obscure ones. If you’re an Anne Rice I def urge you to wander in! They have a fun little scrapbook of photos/memories of her signings. Where in NOLA do you live? I’ve always told myself when I retire I’d live in one of two places. Either England or New Orleans ;-D Sadly, the heat makes New Orleans the second option haha! I’m hoping November! ;-D Maybe I can get you meet me at the bookstore? ha ;-D You live in a very magical city, don’t forget to appreciate it and explore all those little nooks and crannies ;-D

Thank you! you know every once in a while I need to see new orleans in the eyes of visitors because it is easy to take it for granted. I am uptown, not too far from the bookstore. well now I have to with that great recommendation 🙂 but it would be fun to meet up when you make your way down here again. November is the perfect time, I love fall! I’m counting down to scarfs and booties and pumpkin everything lol

I’m like that! I get annoyed by tourists and I sometimes forget why they are so enthralled with my city. I walked past so many amazing things daily that I see tourists taking photos and I’m like “REALLY? but why though..!” I guess we just forget how beautiful somethings are and take it for granted. That’s a beautiful neighborhood 😉 please tell me you’ve been to the jazz brunch at the Commander’s Palace otherwise we can’t be friends anymore haha ;-D It’s right there in your neck of the woods ;-D Oh yes please! I’m basic all the things in the Fall ;-D haha! I’d love that!!!!
