Too Faced Like My Melons? Fruit Cocktail Blush Duo ($30) is one of three new shades in the Tutti Frutti Collection that launched earlier this Summer. I loved the original four shades of the Fruit Cocktail Blush Duo I picked up which made me pick up the other three when they launched.

Too Faced Like My Melons? Fruit Cocktail Blush Duo popped into my mind this week because they recently introduced a round of watermelon scented items to the Tutti Frutti Collection. It actually smells like watermelon! The scent doesn’t linger but it is sort of fun that it has such a fun watermelon scent. I’ve been disappointed by some of the Too Faced scented makeup products but this particular blush actually smells quite good and really like watermelon!

But what I’m really loving is this gorgeous shade!

The original round of Too Faced Tutti Frutti Fruit Cocktail Blush Duos launched late last Summer in four shades! Since that time three additional shades are part of the permanent collection making it a total of seven shades that are now available. Each blush comes in an adorable compact featuring a unique fruity design and each of the shades also has a different fragrance. In the case of Like My Melons? it smells just like watermelon as I mentioned aboce.

The packaging is pretty adorable as it has a cute watermelon enamel face place with gold accents and inside a tiny little watermelon character is printed on the mirror. The blushes are 0.22 oz in size and are a split pan with a shimmering side on one version and a more satiny one on the other. You can use the two shades together or applied individually. I actually like how they look swirled together so that’s how I tend to use them.

I pretty much had the same experience with this shade as I did the others I purchased in the past. The satiny shade is a bit firmer and drier compared to the texture of the sparkle shade. I also had some issues picking up the both shades with my brush. I had to swirl a bit harder but I was able to pick up and blend color easily. It’s actually good that the product is a bit denser because they are quite pigmented so picking up a tiny bit of product is better for application. The color lasts for a solid eight to ten hours for me without fading.

I love this shade! I thought at first it looked like a shade from the original line but it actually isn’t. The beautiful watermelon shade has a lovely warm coral undertone and the sparkle shade is a pretty shimmering golden bronze with fine gold sparkle. The two combined creates a pretty warm peachy watermelon on my cheeks.

Too Faced Like My Melons? Fruit Cocktail Blush Duo is a keeper! Love this shade! It’s been working great in my Summer looks but I’m also looking forward to using it in the Fall.

Anyone own it?

Do you love it?

HAHA! I am wearing this blush for the first time today! Do you mind sharing what brush you used? I struggled to pick up on one side with the ones I have (too large) because as you said, it’s a little harder to pick up but the result is beautiful!

It’s such a pain to pick up! I use my Bobbi Brown Blush brush (it has sort of a dome shape) and I sort of beat the side of the brush against both shades and that picks the color up!

I own it. I usually apply the watermelon shade and then top with the sparkle shade.
