Natasha Denona Metropolis Eyeshadow Palette might be the word for Fall 2019 but her new Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette and Glow Gold Highlight Duo should be on your lips for Holiday 2019. Both the eyeshadow palette and highlighter duo will be available September 17th at sephora.com (in stores 09/29) and they look stunning!

I do so enjoy her mini palettes. Don’t get me wrong I’m dying to check out the new Metropolis Eyeshadow Palette! 28 shades of Fall-friendly shades? Sign me up! But sometimes the basics are cool too! Her mini palette include five shades that’s it and that feels like enough sometimes as I find pairing up shades can be challenging. I’m not makeup artist sadly so if you give me 30 shades I’ll stumble a little bit and have to think several minutes about which shades go together well. Sometimes five shades is just the right amount without being overwhelming.

Technically speaking the Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette isn’t all gold. It almost looks like a golden chartreuse selection of shades. It sort of has an olive green tinge which I like because green totally goes well with my big brown eyes (see me in green below cheeeseeee).

Green and gold just go so great together and I’m hoping the promo images are accurate and that’s what I’m seeing in this palette!

Shades include:
Dark Sepia (dark taupe with pink shimmer), Bia (matte olive green), Lodge (matte light tawny brown), Antheia (taupe with green reflects), D’or (high shine vibrant yellow gold)

Jump ahead for more!

The palette is an affordable $25! Hey, compared to Natasha’s larger palettes that will set you back $100+ this is a break!

Also, upcoming with this eyeshadow palette launch is the Natasha Denona Glow Gold Highlight Duo ($42) which is a selection of two golds. One is a warmer luminous gold and the other a lighter sparkling gold. It looks like in the promo images the model is wearing it on her eyes! I do wonder if it is that pigmented.

Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette and Glow Gold Highlight Duo are available today.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. What is that perfection on your lips?? The color, the shine, its exactly what I’m looking for!

    • Isabella Muse

I WISH I could remember lol! The shiny is likely Maybelline Shine Shock but the lipstick shade I’m not sure eep! I’m sorry! I need to start writing down what I wear in my posts ;D Don’t quote me but it could be Too Faced Peach Kiss Lipstick in Chill Pill 😀

      • Lacy

Agreed! Be I just asked for a shade from one of your other posts!
You should totally start recapping products used in your looks!

        • Isabella Muse

Will do 😀 also good for me because sometimes I like something I wore and forgot what it was LOL!

I am eyeing this palette. I’ve never tried anything from the brand but this palette is just calling my name! I hope it turns out to be nice when it drops. Or maybe my wallet will be happy if it isn’t up my alley outside of its promo images lol!

What shadow(s) are you wearing in those pictures? They’re stunning!

  • Lacy

i am so excited for this mini and will be purchasing immediately when it launches next tuesday!
i also appreciate that she’s listened to her consumers and created a mini gold like so many requested. and she nailed it with this color selection. I can’t wait to try a khaki green smokey eye with this!

It’s pretty, but not what I was expecting when it was first announced that Gold was getting a mini. I have lusted after the original palette for ages now specifically because of the really rich deep blue/pure gold color combo, and was hoping to see something like that in the mini. I do love an olive/khaki look, but I’m pretty sure I can dupe this pretty closely with my current collection.

I feel like I can skip this. I am getting the Metropolis palette and it has a very similar feel. Plus, I also just dropped $112 on the new Pat McGrath palette. And the gold highlight is not only too deep for my skin tone, it also looks mighty sparkly! The only highlights from her I’ve tried are in the Sculpt and Glow palette(hate the cream, love the powder).
When I first tried ND eyeshadow, I was really disappointed. I had been a junkie for McGrath and Viseart for awhile and everyone was always comparing Natasha Denona’s shadows so I bought a $129 palette and it didn’t have the wow factor that PM and Viseart had for me. But as soon as I stopped comparing the shadows(I mean, why should I? PM and Viseart are nothing alike) and started appreciating Natasha, I grew to love them. Now she’s in my top five luxury brands. But Sculpt and Glow has been my ride or die since it dropped

I feel the same way! I think I always assumed HD would be on par with VA and PM. I dunno why but I just fit all three of them in the same corner (put CT in there too!)! But I realize now ND is a lot different compared to them and I really enjoy her launches for what they are. If I start comparing things that is when I get a little disappointed ;-D

Oh you brat I was so set to ignore this. Not only was your description enough to hook me- gold green (I have hazel eyes) but the colors look totally amazeballs on you so now I have to go buy it!! Hey at least this is just the $25 one and not the $100+ palette.

    🙂

    • Isabella Muse

oh that isn’t the palette on my eyes! was just saying green and gold looks great on brown eyes so popped that pic in here ;-D but thank you! Hey at $25 totally worth a haul ;-D

  • Lacy

Just ordered this as soon as I woke up! So early it has already shipped!! Squeallllll
And I got it for free!!! I redeemed 1000 pets for $25 Rouge reward woot woot. Although I wish it was for $50 if 2000 gets you $100 but hey. I’ll take it.
    So excited!

The mini palette looks perfect for me too – I love green and golds. They look lovely on you Muse. And certainly so much more affordable too.

    • Isabella Muse

I’m actually not wearing this palette! It’s just a green/gold look I did with a Too Faced palette ;D

  • Abby

This mini gold palette is super tempting to me. I normally go for exclusively cool tones and cool neutrals (read: grays) at that. But I’ve recently become intrigued by more colorful eye makeup looks, especially greenish (though grungy) eye makeup looks. I love the neutral and dark greenish tones here. And your bold, smoky look using them here is truly stunning. Thank you also for sharing your thoughts on this and the other items in this review.
