It’s so good they had to make it in a jumbo size! Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm is now available in a huge 6.8 oz tube. I just pictured two of these because I’m having some sort of FOMO fear that it’ll sell out before I can purchase it during the Sephora Holiday Sale Event. Seriously, it’s just that good.

Farmacy decided to gift us with a massive 6.8 oz tube of our favorite cleansing balm for the Holiday season. The typical size is 3.2 oz and that size is $34 so you’re getting more than twice the size for $9 extra! SIGN ME UP! 😉 I love this stuff. It’s a soft cleansing balm that breaks down makeup beautifully without drying my face. I recently hauled the new Very Cherry version and I honestly, don’t need another cleansing balm but this size was too good to past up! I had a two Sephora reward certificates to use so I pitched them into this purchase and got two big old jars for $60 some odd dollars.

Score!

I am however, deeply saddened that the larger size is available for a limited time only.

Sad sign.

Oh well! It’s still here now so take advantage of you love it.

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm in the 6.8 oz size is available at Sephora.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ok, this means I need to test out the green clean this weekend, and if I like it as much as you do, then I need the BIGA$$ sized one! 😀 But again – WHY the limited release??!?!?! If it’s good enough to make a biga$$ size, then keep making the biga$$ size!!! Geez – do the MU and skincare companies not understand that people are over limited releases? The fact that they make a limited release that is on sale 3 weeks after its released ought to tell them *soemthing* but apparently it doesn’t. This would probably be a sell out since so many people like it.

SO – gotta try my lil sample out this weekend, and if it’s awesome (which I expect it to be, since you like it so much!) then, I suppose I’ll have to pony up fer the big ‘un… 😀

ugh the LE the kills me! Why indeed! let me know what you think! I can’t wait to hear if you like it or not!

  • VLavender

I have been wanting to try this. I was reading the Sephora reviews and people are saying there is “plastic” in it or whatever. Of course, I don’t know how much truth there is to it. Ingredients can be misconstrued all the time and of course I’m not THAT motivated to do my own research..but its interesting! I smelled the Cherry one and didn’t like the smell. This one might be fresher smelling!

It actually contains polyethylene which is common in skincare and not harmful to your skin as far as I know however, it is harmful to the environment sadly. This one smells like hard green candy ;-D

As i said before, polyethylene (glycol) is Miralax. The inert aspect is probably why polyethylene is used. Smooth binder? Chemicals are difficult for us non-chemists. After all, ethylene glycol, which sounds hella similar is antifreeze! I doubt you’d get any skin tears, and it probably is not in the least harmful to an individual. The bioaccumulation is the problem. In some ways, mostly in the long run, the choice to use this or not is similar to the choice about KVD. What do you believe? What will you vote for/against? We make those decisions daily about all products. CF beauty? CF meat? No meat at all? This is a HG product for many. It’d be pretty disingenuous of me to call foul on this, when i reuse lots of plastic bags for dog cleanup.

I don’t know what you do for a living besides something regarding insurance. However, you spend money as though you’re a millionaire. I’m assuming you are. You throw these dollar signs out there like it’s nothing. I have a 7 year degree and I don’t spend money like you. Do you realize or even care that you spend more in a month on cosmetics than what a family of 2 working adults brings home? That’s of course not including all purses, shoes, candles, home goods, etc. the list goes on and on. And of course the 2 houses. You’re a JAP. Be proud. There literally website devoted to the massive consumerism and narcissistic attitude you display.

Hi again Heather. We actually already had this conversation together a few times already so, don’t mind me for not replying to it all over again. If you like you can refer back to one of the recent discussions we had in this post: https://www.musingsofamuse.com/2019/06/wet-n-wild-pac-man-limited-edition-collection-box-available-now.html or other posts you’ve commented on about how I spend my money, what I do for a living, etc…! I have no idea what a JAP is so at least we have something new to discuss as you can explain that one to me. Thanks! Have a really good weekend ahead!

ha thanks 🙂 It’s just she’s left this comment before a few times under this name and other names. I don’t feel like dragging up the whole topic again when I already answered/replied/discussed it with her. She can easily go back and refresh her memory on prior posts she commented on 🙂

This website belongs to a person named Isabella; it’s her space. If you do not like her content, please do not visit her page. It is not your place to tell someone how they should or should not spend their money, and there is a terrible irony in how you have associated your education with decision making. If you cannot say anything nice, do not say it at all. Particularly, in someone else’s (figurative) house.

      • Isabella Muse

just a note it’s your house too 🙂 you’re welcome here as a friend so I consider it your home as well as mine 😀 Heather however, she’s outstaying her welcome pretty fast. I’m of the agreement if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it but I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion in this world and Heather has hers which she can go right ahead and share with me however, I just refuse to go through it again with her because at this point she’s showing the signs o being a troll as she’s left this comment before under numerous other names! Thank you though for standing up for me ;-D xoxo!

  • Meeyeon Park

I eyed this one before I purchased my Eve Lom cleanser – the price is sooo much better for Farmacy – but I was confused why there was ‘plastic’ in the ingredient list =\
(Btw, you’re my favorite blogger, Isabella! I love the variety of articles lately)

    • Isabella Muse

awww thanks Meeyeon! Eve Lom’s is quite nice too! I know :-/ Funny thing is I don’t think the original formula contained it. I dunno why they changed it! Awww thank you my dear I truly appreciate that!!!!!!!!!!! XOXO!

  • F1wild

How does this compare to my ol’ favorite, Clean it Zero, besides the cost? In your opinion, do I need to step it up to a more sophisticated balm for my dry skin (living in arid Phoenix)?

    • Isabella Muse

I love Clean It Zero but I actually like Farmacy’s better! It’s a bit softer in texture which is what I love about it. But either way, both do an excellent job removing makeup 🙂
