    I love that this collection is based on one of the most iconic video games. The way they package the collection actually reminds me of this 1980’s game. I have to see this in person.

    I have all these products, but I’m buying this anyway because I want the collectors edition. Can you see where this may turn people off from you? There is a lot of online chatter about you being a rich, spoiled brat! And, please don’t give us “I work a 9-5 job”�! You have several houses, travel constantly and buy whatever your little heart desires. You think $35.00 for a lipstick is nothing. This rubs people the wrong way. I’m sorry, but, I’m out. I can’t deal with vapid, spoiled little rich girls that have had everything handed to them. Again, don’t go there with the “I work”�. I’m simply saying this to you because, this is how most people see you. It’s not jealousy, it’s disgust. There is a massive difference. It’s simply not normal to spend 1k a week, or more, on cosmetics, shoes, purses, clothes, etc.

      Hmmmmmmmmm I find this all very interesting! First off, I don’t think it’s a turn off at all. Most people have the same beauty and makeup addiction as I do and they totally relate to how I feel which is why they read here. As for online chatter about me being a rich, spoiled brat, not sure where you are reading all this because link me up! I want to read how rich and fabulous I am (when I’m neither). I dunno WHO thinks I’m rich but they are pretty wrong. Comfortable yes, rich no. As for travel, that’s true! I travel a lot as my BF is on the West and I’m on the East so we travel back and fourth! Another falsehood is “everything handed to me”. Who is it that’s handing me everything? I want to meet this person! All this time I was thinking I was paying my own way and I have a secret benefactor I don’t even know about! GASP! Where’s my Daddy Warbucks!? Please introduce me to him! Curious minds do you have access to my finances that you know how much I’m spending on anything? Clue me in where 1k a week comes from? How did you come to that figure? Do share, I’d love to hear all about it. That’s not sarcasm, that’s general interest how you came to the fact I’m spending 1,000 a week on cosmetics, shoes, purses, and clothes. I’d love a breakdown of my weekly spending since you seem to know a lot more about it than I do somehow. Again, no sarcasm! I’m generally very interested in how you know how much I spend. I look forward to your reply!

        All this Comes from different forums. I’m simply stating what I say said online. You are not the only one. It’s just that I read your blog everyday and it’s bit hard not to notice the amount you spend on everything. Most of us can only dream of a life like you live, even living a state that is very tax forgiving and with a college degree. It’s all just a little “strange”�. Maybe you should share your secrets of how you can buy so much, travel, own several homes and live as well off as you do? And that is not sarcasm on my part.

          Just because it’s online doesn’t make it true. I think that’s probably the first rule of the Internet. You’re going to believe the “truth” of strangers on forums that don’t personally know me? That’s pretty sad. On the upside being talked about as if I have a boast load of cash is the least offensive thing I’ve heard. So there’s something positive LOL! I blog beauty, if I didn’t post anything about beauty what would be the point of maintaining the blog? People come here because I’m honest about what I think about purchases I make. That’s the point of my blog to buy, try, and review the item. Or occasionally, I’m lucky enough to score a sample or a product from a brand and I can post/review that. If I didn’t do that I might as well not bother with the site. It would be useless to me and to all of the readers. I have no interest in blogging anything other than beauty because I love it. So, if I don’t blog it like I said I might as well just close the site. That being said if don’t like the site, hearing my thoughts on something, or seeing my purchases I’d recommend not really reading beauty blogs or watching youtube videos at all because there’s a lot of people doing what I do and you’ll have to basically hate and be disgusted by A LOT of people. Do you really want to spend that energy on being disgusted by all these people? Why not read something else that interests you if blogs/beauty purchases evoke so much negativity. Do you have any other hobbies or interests? Gaming? Books? I read a ton of different gaming websites and book review sites that are always great. Or even fanfic! I totally love a good fanfic! I don’t really have a secret aside from hard work, proper saving, not running up credit debt, investing, etc..! No real secret here. No huge cash flow from my benefactors, no secret lottery win, just hard work, saving, and investing. I’m not twenty years old, fresh out of college. I’ve been working hard and trying to achieve some of the goals I’ve set for myself. Sometimes I fail, sometimes I luck out, I’m just trying to live life the best I can. That’s about my only secret! My father came to this country when he was 20, really had no money, worked hard, had a family, lives comfortably. If I can be half the person he became I’ll be pretty darn happy. And no, my parents don’t have some secret inheritance they plan on passing on to me. You say people can only dream about what I have. But their dream in life shouldn’t be about what someone else has. Their dream in life should be about what they want from it. If you’re blessed enough to roll out of bed everyday you’re already living part of the dream, some people aren’t as lucky! Any day six feet above ground in experience life is a good day. Make it the best day. Stop worrying about what someone else has and look around at what you have, what you achieved, and pat yourself on the back for that. I’m not talking about major accomplishments, because lord knows I don’t have any, but small ones. A job, food on your table, paying the rent or the mortgage, just living life. There’s always something that you can feel blessed about. I hope you’ll stick around and have this adventure with me and in the future maybe you’ll be inclined to leave more a positive comment! Tell me about your purchases! I always love hearing what someone thinks about something they purchase, used, etc…! Or just come on to say hey. Whatever you do I’m sending over some good vibes. I hope you find what you’re looking for on the Internet and try to stay away from forums that claim to know about someone else’s life, finances, etc..! Ask the person directly if you have questions versus listening to someone else’s telling of it 🙂

            I mean, what do people expect when they watch or read things from people who have blogs or YT channels based around makeup, skincare, clothing, etc? Of course they’re spending money on these things, and the more they can get, the more knowledge they can share. If someone is going to be insecure about how much money they can afford to spend on whatever they’re talking about, why even subscribe to the content? And what’s the point of leaving a nasty comment just because this one person that isn’t being forced to participate doesn’t like it? I don’t understand people. Then she points out that she isn’t “jealous”, she’s just disgusted. Sorry, but both of those comments sound like they’re dripping with jealousy to me. I like how you asked for links and she provided none. Sucks having to deal with people like this, I bet.

            Pretty much my thoughts. YouTube/beauty blogging/even makeup forums like makeupalley are pretty much consumer driven. You can’t visit these sites or watch these videos without being exposed to things people have purchased. I’ve seen entire closet and house tours on youTube display cars, hundreds and thousands of dollars in purses, etc…people enjoy this kind of content it seems if youTube stats and blog stats are anything to go by! I know I like them ha…! I watched Jeffree Star’s recent closet tour and it was amazinggggggg! I’d probably avoid them though if they evoked feelings of disgust, negativity, or hate. Life is too short to hang around stuff I don’t like or want to see/etc…! I’d rather spend time on content I do love versus sitting around watching stuff I dislike. I don’t think she’s jealous of anything really because there’s nothing to be jealous of. So, perhaps my purchasing is disgusting to her which is fine however, don’t waste time being turned off by my content! She’s better of using the energy to concentrate on content she does love versus torturing herself with stuff she doesn’t. I’m sure there are links! I’m no stranger to hate ;-D MakeupAlley loves ripping me up as does Reddit and GOMI, etc…! But it does come with the territory when you’re a blogger. Not everyone is going to love or get you and that’s cool! Negative/rude/or just plain mean comments are def hard to deal with though 😉 But hey, I have cool readers like you that are positive and comment daily about life or makeup or whatever that makeup for the small amount of ones that do leave crummy comments. It’s a give or take thing! xoxoxo!

        Thank you for replying. Looking forward to receiving my collection from Ulta. BTW, love your reviews, I have been popping in to read for a couple of years. I have a mild to moderate lipstick addiction, so coming here to see some reviews is helpful. My faves are Chanel, Tatcha and now Bond lipsticks.

WnW has been doing some really fun fandom stuff lately that my geeky side loves! Did you try anything from the fire/ice dragon launch? They had a few cool pieces in that launch too!

        I just bought the set last night on wet n wild site- the whole set came out to 74$ after tax n. Shipping but I sell make up online and ppl are are being super greedy about this”�- I’ll give u a secret they still have it at Walgreens! Lolll I also went there and got some lip glosses but they are out of the brushes pretty much everywhere:( and Btw this is my first time ever seeing this site- I dig it/ and your replies to that person just being A hater was super classy yet with some tude- I loved it- I will be a repeat for sure!
