L’Occitane Holiday Advent Calendar for Holiday 2019 Arrives
L’Occitane Holiday Advent Calendar ($64) for Holiday 2019 arrives today! This limited edition bath, body, and skincare advent calendar features 24 mini and deluxe size samples of L’Occitane favorites.
When I was little my mom always got me a chocolate advent calendar. I mean, really, what kid didn’t have one right? It was so exciting to open the doors each day to reveal a chocolate treat. Ironically, the chocolate wasn’t even what excited me. I just got excited to open each door daily to see what shape the chocolate would be that day and I wanted to so hurry ahead to the big chocolate treat the end because you knew it was going to be awesome! Typically it would be a Santa or a big star-shaped chocolate! Sometimes there was a little graphic underneath the chocolate showing a waving child or a little present. I wasn’t as obsessed with getting the chocolate as I was anticipating opening that little door to reveal what was inside even though I technically knew what to expect I never knew what the chocolate’s shape would be and maybe that little mystery was what was so exciting! Not to mention each day I opened a door meant I was just one more day closer to Christmas!
A lot of those good memories were brought back when I reviewed the L�Occitane Holiday 2016 Advent Calendar because the packaging was so cute and retro! They went with a little apartment building during the Holidays. When it opened you’d get a glimpse inside each of the resident’s homes. It was pretty cute and really brought back good childhood memories.
This year, calendar is illustrated by Hsinping Pan who’s a wonderful Taiwanese artist! I’m sure many of you are familiar with her whimsical animations and illustrations that have appeared in books and movies.
