Sephora 20% Off Holiday 2019 Sale Dates, Promo Code, and Info

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The Sephora 20% Off Rouge Holiday Bonus 2019 Sale starts today! Last year, the Sephora 20% Off Holiday Sale started on October 26th and the year before that it started October 25th. Typically, the sales falls in November but the last two years Sephora has been doing it very, very early in the season and later on as we get closer to the Holidays they send out targeted offers for further discounts. This year, the Holiday Bonus Event starts November 1st, today, for Rouge Members, and the promo code is HOLIDAYSAVE! You can begin shopping and for one day only bring a friend to the store to shop and save 20% Off too! The sale ends on November 11th!

The official dates for Rouge, VIB, and BI members are:

  • Rouge 20% Off November 1st through November 11 with code HOLIDAYSAVE
  • VIB 15% Off November 7 through November 11 with code HOLIDAYSAVE
  • BI 10% off November 7 through November 11 with code HOLIDAYSAVE

I’m sure you’re wondering about the what, the where, and the who so I created a FAQ to get you started on your journey and of course, I have several recommendation posts that you can see here:

On to the FAQ!

Shop the Sale During the Sale
Sephora.com has a sale section with prices slashed up to 60% off if you’re wondering if the promo code work on those already sale items the answer is yes! You’ll get an additional 20% off any sale price.

When does it happen? What times does it start?
The Sephora 20% VIB Rouge Sale Event starts on November 1st through November 11th. It starts for VIBs and BIs on November 7th and ends on November 11th.

Is it in store? Online? At JCPenny stores?
It’s online at Sephora.com and also in stores as well as in Sephora stores at JCPenny but not on JCPenny’s website. If you’re shopping in store you can access the discount via the app and show it in stores to get your 20% off or just confirm your Rouge, VIB, or BI status at checkout and the cashier will give you the discount. You should be getting a coupon via snail mail and e-mail as well which can be presented in store.

Get Your Cart Ready Right Now and Shop Early
I actually do recommend getting an early start on the sale as some gift sets or items might sell out fast. Sometimes the website can be sluggish as well during the first day of the sale. Having a cart prepared for checkout is a good idea and getting an early start as well!

My item sold out now what?
Check back! I see a lot of things go out of stock only to be restocked with a few days! You have nearly two weeks of shopping ahead of you! The item is bound to pop back up!

Can I use the promo code more than once? Do they limit what I buy? Are their exclusions?
Yes, you can use the code as many times as you want. Exclusions do apply. The Ordinary is not on sale, MAC (only in Canada) is excluded, and of course, gift cards won’t be discounted.

What’s the promo code I can use to shop?
Everyone has the same promo code and that is HOLIDAYSALE.

But, I’m not VIB Rouge now what?
You can’t take advantage of the sale the first few days of the sale from November 1st to November 7th. When the 7th rolls around the sale opens up to both VIB and BI members.

I hope this helps you answer any burning questions you might have about to sale if you have others do drop me a comment and I’ll reply as fast as I can!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

My list is very small to non-existent. Maybe, like the last go-round, one fragrance. If I were close to rouge, I might up the S order, but I’ve decided that a better plan is to get the only ‘big spend’ at Beautylish during GC time. I realize the % is the same, but Beautylish has some Sonia G and Wayne G brushes, plus other stuff that S just does not handle. Plus, having the GCs waiting in the wings is a wonderful thing. Having 40 to spend on Viseart liaison or a WG air brush and have them COVERED is better than a % off any day. That’s only part of what S does not get. Plus, B’s model makes you spend that $ you earned at Beautylish. Total win-win. With what U and B are doing, Sephora seems like such a D’uh.

I’m ready for the sale when it arrives! I have a few items on my list, one of them a new release, that I’m excited for. I’m also excited for that coupon they send out every December lol!

I’m Rouge and randomly got a targeted 20% off email for foundation only on Friday. I was hoping it was the email about the holiday event!!

      • Frozendiva

I received a targeted email for 15% off mascara a few weeks ago. I had just bought some at the Bay and didn’t use the offer.

I want to get so much Tatcha. And the Olaplex oil and maybe a couple of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks.

  • Rachael

I just ran out of my Nars eye primer so that’ll be a repurchase plus I have a small wish list. Think I’m finally going to splurge on Natasha Denona!

Just made my purchase, which was surprisingly small! I originally had a VERY long list, then realized I still need to buy Christmas gifts, and most of my family and friends aren’t into cosmetics. It’s always a dilemma I face: spending on myself or on others when having a finite budget. LOL!

ha! story of my life! It’s like, “ok, stop being so greedy! You have to buy gifts too!” that’s my logical adult side and the spoiled child side is “MINE MINE MINE”

Are their any other VIB’s feeling like a second class citizen this year? Most of my shopping is being done at Ulta, where I’m Platinum, because they keep sending me 20% offers. Not smart of Sephora to keep demoting VIB’s in my opinion.

This is an interesting time. For once I actually need stuff when the sale rolls around and I’ve also been shopping throughout the year so it’s not like I’m looking to place a huge order.

I’m going on a trip so I need sunscreen, hand cream, and skincare more than anything else. Though I also need to restock on Fenty eyeliner. The trouble is I mostly get the skincare stuff from Dermstore because Sephora doesn’t carry the brands I like.

So I’m back to getting a Fenty eyeliner and maybe some Supergoop suncreen. I’m tempted to get Laura Mercier setting powder, Laneige lip sleeping mask, Urban Decay lipstick in Backtalk, and Sephora’s Solid Brush Cleanser but I could easily be swayed to just buy an eyeshadow palette since I’m not running low on any of those yet. I’d just be thinking ahead for the year to come. I would like to restock on concealer but they don’t carry my shade of Too Faced concealer and I haven’t found a new one yet.

I’m looking everywhere this holiday season for an eyeliner pack or kit deal (especially Urban Decay) – But I haven’t seen any ANYWHERE! Have you seen any eyeliner deals?
