Sephora Favorites Hello! Beauty Icons Set arrives today at sephora.com for $10 bucks. As you know the Sephora Play Box has been discontinued and it’s been replaced with two new non-subscription based boxes that will launched from time to time. The first box to launch was the Sephora Favorites LUXE Shelf-Love Collection which was a $25 luxury box but Sephora did promise there would be another non-luxury box available which would set back makeup lovers $10 to $15. That box is the Hello! Beauty Box.
It’s not the first time Sephora has launched individual purchases boxes as they have done a few even when Play was still an active subscription service. I can’t say I’ll miss Play! as I felt the boxes contained a lot of repetitive items I’ve gotten samples of before or have purchased as a full-size already. They subscription just wasn’t worth it for me.
The new line of beauty boxes might be appealing to those who like to select and choose what they want versus having something automatically sent to them. The interesting thing about the Hello! Beauty Box is it includes a 15% off voucher to be used on any full-size of the items included in the box. That’s pretty interesting as this option was not available with the luxury box!
