Darling, Why Do You Always Smell Good Enough to Eat?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Remember when we were all obsessed with Philosophy Shower Gels? Or was I the only one hoarding them away like the apocalypse was about to go down? One of the best things about the changing seasons was the fact that Philosophy would slide into my beauty world with some new scented shower gel. There were Fall ones, Halloween ones, Valentine’s Day ones, Christmas ones, it was such an amazing time for shower gels in

I’m still trying to figure out why I liked them so much as the scents were so fleeting. It was great if you just wanted to smell like a cupcake in the shower but I’m that girl that wants the scent to linger and I have no issues with my hair and body smelling like a cinnamon bun outside of the shower. My best friend always tells me, “Darling, why do you always smell good enough to eat?” Thank you so much I like gourmands and I won’t apologize for it ha!

Philosophy Cinnamon Buns and Bubbly Shower Gel still makes a guest starring appearance in my bathroom but I sure do yearn for the days when they did all those great seasonal scents! If you’re feeling a bit nostalgic this Philosophy 16 Piece Scent-Sational Shower Gel Collection might bring back good memories! It includes 16 x 6 oz Philosophy 3-in-1 Shower Gels that can be used as shampoo, shower gel, or bubble bath! The set is $79.94 with free shipping or 4 Easy Pays of $19.99.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Black Licorice was very cool. Red Licorice. Eggnog was my favorite. Still have some I’m rationing.

Philosophy used to make a shower gel for Ulta’s breast cancer thing every October, and it was the BEST. I’m so mad they don’t make it any more, and haven’t for a couple of years. I bought it every year they made it (well, at least every year since we got an Ulta here…) Wish they’d start doing that again… I have Pineapple Orange in my shower right now!! I don’t smell it when I get out of the shower but I sure smell nice when I’m scrubbing myself down! 😀

I dunno what happened to Philosophy 🙁 They used to do a lot of fun stuff but it all went down hill! I love the in shower experience but I sure wish it would linger when I got out! ;-D

Almonds and Cream is my favorite, I wish it would come back!

Would you believe I don’t think I ever smelled that!? GASP!

Fresh Cream, Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, Lemon Custard, Vanilla Chocolate Crumble and Sparkling White Peach. The last two came out last year I believe and they smell amazing!

I absolutely love Lemon Custard and still use it. It is yummy and calming and makes me look forward to my shower.

    What is your favorite Isabella?

Great pick! 🙂 I actually listed my favorites in the post 😉

love your headline! Though I have wanted to I have never tried the body washes, I have allergies and all sorts of scents set them off 🙁 But, I had always wondered if any of the recipes were any good. Then I found the Fresh Cream & Mint and I followed the recipe and ever since that is what I use to make fresh whipped cream. I think TJMaxx has good prices on these compared to others I have seen online but their selection and availability vary greatly. I hope you are doing well all things considered. I’m in Texas and I predict another shutdown in mid July since cases keep rising here in Dallas every day. Scary times and I am usually not one to be scared.
What do you recommend as a great cleanser for combo skin that leans a little more dry? I was using First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser and suddenly my face said NO! It burns around my nose and mouth. I am trying Esfolio Rose Cleansing Foam and it feels like it leaves a layer but my skin feels good afterward, the bonus is it doesn’t smell funky like the FAB one.
