Bite Beauty Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss is Here But What I Really Want Is New Lipstick

Bite Beauty Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss arrived earlier this month and I’m definitely interested because Bite Beauty can do no wrong in my opinion! But I have to admit I’m sort of lemming new lipsticks. It’s been nearly a year since Bite Beauty discontinued their entire line of lipsticks and recently they did come out with a rather cute Millennial Pinks 4-Piece Mini Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon Set that gets a big yay! But still, I really want new lipstick. I felt for sure that the launch of the Bite Beauty Creamy Color Mini Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick Set for Holiday 2019 was a hint at a new Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick formula. That formula was so hydrating, so creamy, so delicious! I thought they were using that Holiday set as a launching pad for a new lipstick formula. Sadly, that didn’t happen! Instead Bite Beauty decided to launch an entire foundation range! Hmmmm…!

Sadly, we still haven’t gotten those lipsticks but hey, at least there’s Bite Beauty Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss to keep us warm at the moment! This new formula hydrates with sodium hyaluronate and promises to plump lips up! They do have cinnamon oil so sensitive users beware although, they do say the tingle is “mild not wild”. I’m interesting in the super-slick and shiny finish they promise! You know I love a good glossy gloss! The convenient tip allows for easy application as well!

Shades:

  • Rose Meringue (shimmering warm rose)
  • Guava Puff (shimmering nude pink)
  • Lavender Cookie (sheer lilac)
  • Plum Tart (deep berry)
  • Raspberry Swirl (shimmering hot pink)
  • Cinnamon Twist (shimmering deep brown)
  • Cider Donut (shimmering golden cocoa)
  • Sugar Drizzle (clear with gold shimmer)

Bite Beauty Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss is available now and $25 per shade.

I love the two that I ordered (rose meringue and cider donut)! It’s a nice shiny finish and very hydrating; I honestly don’t notice the tingle at all (or plumping), but I’m not that sensitive to that sort of thing”I like wearing them around the house instead of lip balm. I think you might like these!

That’s a positive review Dot 🙂 I’m not wowed by the color range to be honest which is why I didn’t dig in yet but I love a good shiny gloss! I’m glad to hear there isn’t too much of a tingle!

I saw a lot of folks complaining about how cool toned the release was, and the shades are rather confusing given that they are a fall release”the two I ended up with were a pretty good MLBB gloss for me, luckily. I hope they add more shades!

I think the shimmer threw me a little too! As Bite isn’t really known for shimmer!

That’s a good point! And oddly, the non or less shimmery shades don’t look so great in swatches (seems to settle in lines).

I love shimmer but for some reason when it comes to bite I expect cream everything!

I’m with you Muse! I was so disappointed when they discontinued the Amuse Bouche lipstick. I know there are a ton of good lipsticks on the market but I thought they had a little something special going with the oh so clean ingredients. I’m still completely baffled by why they discontinued them. Plumping lip glosses are fine, but really they’re a dime a dozen these days. Nothing special. And the color range on these isn’t even that great. I guess I’m still just cranky about the lipsticks..lol.

I thought for sure the reason the discontinued them was something new and awesome would replace it but then they go and release foundation! So confusing! 🙁 I feel the same on the color range! They might have gotten me had it been a better range of shades : (

I’m getting peeved about the reformulation merry-go-round. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. So many scored all their colors in Vice, for instance, then hated Revolution. I preferred the originals to the Amuse Bouche formula. Reformulations for most users are not deal breakers, but it’s so unnecessary. Who thinks UD did themselves a favor with either new formulation lipsticks OR eyeshadow? No one ever. Their e/s just gets worse, imo, when you contrast it with what they used to produce.

While I like some of the shades, I think of the shade range is kind of lacking. I really liked their lipstick formula, it’s probably one of my favorites. I’m still sad it was discontinued. Apparently, they will be bringing it back eventually with a vegan formula. I hope the quality of the lipsticks won’t suffer.

I hope that’s soon! It feels like I’ve been waiting ages for them to do a new lipstick!

Hey, at least they’re doing a lip product again. I thought they were abandoning lip stuff entirely with skin care and selling off all their lip colors. I wish that stain came in something other than just neon colors.

too true valid point! It seemed like they were giving up on lip stuff there for a sec!
