About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The eyeshadow palettes look nice but I’m undecided if I need anything from this line right now.

I plan to get the matte e/s kit for starters! Also, there is a great interview with him in the Sept 7 2020 issue of the New Yorker if anyone is interested in learning more about him!

I’m curious about this line, but would only purchase if it’s CF.

Am kinda loving the foil palette (large one) and that concealer kit, here’s hoping there’s a shade pale enough for me (blue-eyed, freckled redhead) that won’t sit in my fine lines…

Hope you have been keeping well during these strange times.

a CF? What’s a CF? I’m well thanks for asking 🙂 I’m hanging in! and you?

      • Margaret

        Oops, I may have finger fumbled…. I meant CF – as in cruelty-free 🙂

Well, Montreal is on the cusp of yet another lockdown due to Covid – though not full blown – as of midnight tomorrow, so I guess I’ve been better. Managing alright and glad to hear you’re hanging in 🙂

sorry my brain is fried today! duh! I don’t know if it is good question! Gotta go look that up! ;-D Oh no I am so sorry! Cases in NY are up as well but no lock down! Hopefully things will settle again but so far it’s been creeping up 🙁 Hang in there be safe and well!

Checked the Seephora website last night (9/28) and the products are already available – some are sold out.

The market may be saturated, but at at least he’s a pro makeup artist with the experience and knowledge to launch a line. I like that the collection is rather streamlined and multi-purpose. I don’t need anything right now, but I think might take a look at the concealer palette and maybe a highlighter. I read the allure article, and I liked the way he described the highlighter.
