Truly Unicorn Fruit Eau de Parfum Reminds of That One Time When Unicorn Blood Was a Good Thing

Truly Unicorn Fruit Eau de Parfum launched today and it makes me want to be a pretty little pony again! Or maybe a mermaid….! Yeah, you know what, I want to be a mermaid. Seriously though, remember when Tarte ruined mermaids and unicorns for the WHOLE DAMN WORLD! I am being utterly serious that the damn unicorn and mermaid makeup trend made me legit hate both mystical creatures with a passion! This from a girl who watched Legend two thousand times and Splash about a thousand.

I can only admit this to you guys but I never pictured myself riding into the sunset with Tom Cruise on the back of a unicorn…it was more like I wanted to drink the blood of a unicorn with Tim Curry. He looked hot as in Legend. Whoa Zaddy! Let’s bath in unicorn blood together and stay forever young.

Truly has become the hottest brand on Tiktok. They really go hard over there with the advertisement. They shill that boobie polish potion stuff like it’s their job. Oh wait, it is their job. Sorry…I lost my train of though because of Tim Curry. By the way, has anyone actually tried their whole Boobie Skincare Collection? I mean here I am taking incredible care of my face, my under eyes, my neck…am I somehow missing out on some step in my skincare by not exfoliating and hydrating the girls with serum and moisturizer?!!??! Who even knew you had to serum up your breasts….! This is where I can make a REALLY inappropriate comment but I won’t. Sorry, I have no filter at all.

Anyway, since Truly’s currency of choice in the beauty world is body and bathing it was only a matter of time before they did a fragrance right?

Truly Unicorn Fruit Eau de Parfum is based off their Unicorn Fruit Skincare Collection and features the same notes as that line with a mix of acai berries, matcha, and rose. It’s supposed to be a sweet, fruity scent. Having none of the original unicorn collection I can’t share what it smells like but my inner 12 year old girl demands I buy a perfume that’s called Unicorn Fruit. You should too so I’m not alone.

Truly Unicorn Fruit Eau de Parfum is available now for $48.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. LOL Legend was my favorite! I just wanted a unicorn. *heart eyes*

This whole post made me giggle; thanks for a fun start to the morning!

I think the boobie skincare is just a weird marketing thing. Ive heard derms say put skincare on your face, neck and chest, but I always assumed that to mean the top part that would see sunlight, not the entire boob. ???

Aw so glad you laughed! I’ve actually always been oddly caution about rubbing anything into my chest…is that weird!??!

Whatever works for you! I never did it until recently; now that Im in my mid-thirties, I figure rubbing some Vit C on my chest doesnt hurt haha

I have a mini of J* Unicorn Blood, despite his cancellation. I like it. Not sorry. Does the boob thing work on girls that are in your lap? Were infringing on Asian point mask territory. My mental images of the latter are pretty cringeworthy. I thought point masks were crypto-cosmetics. As in, they could not be real. Never made it big stateside. Probably a good thing.

I didnt want Tom or Tim; I wanted a unicorn!
When I hit middle age, I decided it was time to take care of the girls too. Ive been slathering them with retinols & firming creams ever since. Im satisfied with my routine; not going to be interested in any brands boobie care line.
