Laneige Peppermint and Gingersnap Lip Sleeping Mask for Holiday 2021

As a fond fan of Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, I’m terribly excited for the new Peppermint and Gingersnap flavors for Holiday 2021. I admit, I dunno if I can wait to buy these!

I know, I know! Everyone gets stressed about wearing a lip sleeping mask and having it smear all over your pillow. Not me! I’m a tummy sleeper which is not good because I wake up with puffy eyes and a swollen face from having my head buried in my pillow all night. Wearing a sleep mask forces me to sleep on my back. I consider it way helpful to prevent puffiness in the morning! Hehe!

And hey, if you don’t wanna sleep with it on don’t! I actually typically apply it after cleansing my face and applying my nightly skincare! After that, I’ll sit on the couch with the BF to watch our favorite show or lay in bed with him to listen to The Magnus Archives while I’m wearing it. By the time we head to bed it’s complete worn away anyway and done its magical smoothing and hydrating job!

The mask is a creamy consistency and it smooths on very easily. It sets transparently once on and leaves lips slightly shiny. Some folks say they don’t find it moisturizing enough but I have chronic dry lips and have always felt it was very soothing and quite hydrating.

The two new flavors for Holiday 2021 are Peppermint and Gingersnap! The flavors are likely very subtle as Laneige isn’t known for overpowering its lip masks. You probably won’t get full-on gingerbread from this nor will you get a candy cane. This should prove a relief for those who hated flavored lip products. Personally, I wouldn’t mind more flavor 😉

Nonetheless, these need to come home with me I think! There’s also an All-Nighter Lip Set for $30 that includes the original full-size Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry along with 0.28 oz minis of these two new flavors for $30!

Laneige Peppermint and Gingersnap Lip Sleeping Masks for Holiday 2021 are available now.

I’m intrigued! I just bought the Gingersnap online and hoping it’s what I expect it to be. We know that some of their ‘flavors’ are the La Croix of flavors but hoping they’ve listened to feedback and stepped them up a bit. I’m a sucker for all the amazing gourmand and Fall/Holiday flavors that come out this time of the year so I have high hopes for these. If Gingersnap is great then I’ll probably pick up Peppermint too!

LOL oh my god how accurate! Yes they are like La Croix flavors! I hope they turn out stronger in flavor as I really do want a tiny bit more flavor to them!

I have no qualms about messing up my pillow. I don’t own fancy silk ones, so it’s no big deal. Sometimes when it’s too warm, I actually fall asleep with a sheet mask on my face, because it feels nice and cool, and the essence will get on my pillow case. When I was a teenager, I had bad acne, and I was taught to change my pillow case every few days to reduce the oil and bacteria on my face. To this day, I still change my pillow case twice a week. This means I have to buy extras, and my cases never match my sheets, but it’s not an issue for me.

I don’t think it’s the pillow case, people just think it’s gross having it smeared across their pillow ;-D Biore makes some Japanese overnight masks that I’ve tried but they are SUCH a pain to sleep in! I don’t mind so much because I actually change our sheets daily anyway!

I didn’t even finish reading your post before I bought the all nighter set at Sephora. Lol!

Sounds interesting! I love minty lip products & love anything pumpkin/ gingerbread food…but I’m not sure about loving it on my lips…but I’ll try anything once…just to say I’ve tried it.

Ooh, I love these. I hope it’s not trying to be plumping/irritating and it’s just the gingersnap scent/flavor. Please review them if you get the chance!
