Picture it, March 2021, Fenty Gloss Bomb Dip Clip-On Luminizer launches and it’s completely tone-deaf to COVID fears. Fast forward to Spring 2022 on the horizon and Hot Chocolit and Fu$$y, two new shades of Fenty Gloss Bomb Dip Clip-On Luminizer launch.

Fenty, come, sit down. Let’s chat.

Girl, we had this discussion before. Remember how I told you no one is gonna want to stick their fingers into a big old pot of lip balm during the pandemic. Hell, even when it isn’t a pandemic the whole lip balm in a pot thing has been over since the early 90s. I mean you did listen a little and you aren’t using your marketing about applying it with a few finger taps. Phew! My mysophobic good nature thanks you for that.

I know your excuse (and your rabid fan base’s excuse) will be that you just need to take a little applicator or lip brush with you when you’re on the go. But wouldn’t it be wild and crazy if you gave us one with our $19 purchase. Just a small one, nothing big…. A thought for a redesign next year!

So, yeah, as you can tell I’ve actually outgrown flipping out over little lip balms that come in slide compacts. I’m pretty sure my love of these went out the door many, many years ago. It’s just not a functional or practical product for me particularly during a pandemic. But if it’s your thing the Fenty Gloss Bomb Dip Clip-On Luminizer is now available in two shades. Technically, the shades aren’t new, just new to this formula as they are already offered in the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer.

Shades now available:

  • Hot Chocolit (shimmering rich brown)
  • Fu$$y (shimmering pink)

I’m a lover of the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer personally. It’s easy to travel with, has a sponge applicator, and applies flawlessly! So, I don’t really need Fenty Gloss Bomb Dip Clip-On Luminizer which isn’t as travel friendly, will prove to be messy application-wise, and a big old breeding ground for germs.

What do you think of the Fenty Gloss Bomb Dip Clip-On Luminizer? Are you excited for new shades?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I dont even like using my sample of Laniege lip mask for this reason. Its like, Im in bed and what am I suppose to do with my sticky finger??

ha! true true! LOL! I normally apply it before I get into bed. I do it with the little lip spatula but if I do so while in bed there’s nowhere to clean it off. So def before bed 😀

The sad thing is, the colours look really pretty. I haven’t used a dip balm since I was a teenager, so I won’t pick these up.

Oops, not sure why I responded to Gina’s message. LOL!

But yes, I use the evening balms on my cuticles as well. Works wonders!

Just wash your hands or use hand sanitizer. I’m dating myself but when I was young, lip gloss came in those cute little pots and we all used our fingers. We also used fingers to apply practically every cosmetic and skin care product for years and guess what? We survived. I can understand being extra careful given Covid but way before it hit, people were getting overly germ phobic. Practice good personal hygiene and you’ll be OK.
