I’m on this whole smell like a tropical cake melting in your hand thing lately and I have to say that Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Joia Milky Leave-In Conditioner is making that possible. I’m on my second bottle of this and yes, it’s $28 but do I care? No! Why? Because it smells stupid amazing.

I will forever be misting my hair madly for the rest of Summer with this gorgeous stuff.

Loves it.

I picked up Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Joia Milky Leave-In Conditioner when it launched several weeks ago and I had a bit of a meh moment on the near $30 price tag but I’m now on my second bottle and I regret nothing (it’s a pretty good size at 7.1 oz). NOTHING! I love this stuff. It smells just like Bum Bum Cream and makes my hair so super smooth.

It’s actually my go-to after a swim. After a pool day, I’ll hop in the shower and rinse my hair with cold water! After squeezing out the excess water from my shower I’ll mist this onto my wet hair and wrap my hair in a t-shirt. Yes, a t-shirt. Wavy-haired girls know the joy of wrapping their hair up in an old tee! After I get dressed I’ll proceed to use a wet brush or a wide tooth comb to gently work out the tangles in my hair and allow it to air dry!

This mist isn’t an actual mist but more of a lightweight leave-in cream conditioner! It has a creamy consistency and leaves hair super shiny, super hydrated, and works as a detangler as well but most importantly it smells gorgeous! It def gives off those tropical cake vibes with notes of a vanilla, salted caramel, and pistachio! It’s exactly the scent of Cheirosa ’62 or Sol de Janeiro’s popular Bum Bum Cream!

I absolutely will purchase this again! It pairs well with the other Sol de Janeiro Shampoo and Conditioner and also, is a great way to layer up on the scent so you’re smelling like a hot tropical snack all day long.

Loves it!

Do you have a Trader Joe’s near you? If you do, have you smelled their new body butter? It smells almost exactly like Bum Bum, but a little less intense. I’m going to pick up a few backups!
