I Don’t Pretend to Understand the Wizardry Behind Kaja Jelly Charm Glazed Lip Stain & Blush With Keychain

Kaja Jelly Charm Glazed Lip Stain & Blush With Keychain ($25) are a new, lightweight, moisturizing lip and blush stain that’s available in six shades. So, yeah, I saw these and I realized ten years ago or more I’d have flipped out over how cute they were but sadly, I’m sort of over my cute, kawaii makeup era. I dunno what happened but I realized stashing and hoarding away pretty makeup simply isn’t the way. If I buy something it’s with the intent to use it and not collect it or stash it away only to bring it out occasionally to stroke and whisper to it, “My Precious!”

I’m still very much a collector but a lot of my old ways have been considerably tamed and I don’t always get grabby hands when I see really cute or beautiful makeup. When I saw Kaja Beauty had introduced these cute little stains with a keychain I was like, “mmmm….that’s nice but I don’t need these!” I just don’t think I’d be one to carry around my cheek stain on my keyring. I also, thought they were a bit tiny for $25 each (You can snag them at 30% off on Kaja Beauty’s website)!

Well, fast forward to a few days ago….Kaja surprised me and sent me all the shades and again my excitement radar wasn’t quite going off. I love cheek stains! I mean, LOVE! They used to be a really big part of my makeup routine however, I find certain ones from Asia tend to apply a bit patchy. I was concerned Kaja’s would work best on my lips but probably would be patchy on my cheeks.

Dude, I was wrong on so many levels about these! I’ll have a review and swatches live soon but wow count me crazily impressed. These are so juicy and dewy on my cheeks! They make my cheeks look so sculpted and plumped up. They contain an olive squalane which is fantastic for my drier skin. The formula just glides on and blends like a dream. I feel like I’m applying the most hydrating cream blush! The color is initially sheer but a few swipes builds up to a gorgeous, natural pop of color. I have to admit I’m shocked, surprised, and delighted. This formula was very unexpected. I never thought I’d like them that much. I have a review coming soon but trust me, you don’t want to sleep on these if you have drier skin or like a dewy, natural pop of color.

Buy one and trust me you’re going to want all the shades! My review is coming soon!

Has anyone tried them?

I might give it a try during the next Sephora sale. Sounds nice although it’s not needed.
