By Rosie Jane Dulce Eau de Parfum is a new warm vanilla gourmand that launched for Spring 2023 with notes of vanilla, chocolate, and woods. This scent is inspired by good times, innocent, and the sweeter things in life. And of course, I had to get it because vanilla!!!!!! I was a little more reserved ordering this though as I had a little bad luck with my recent gourmand purchase of Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato 33 plus add in the fact this had a woodsy note and I was playing it safe and ordered the travel-spray. I will, however, be going back for a full-size bottle because it’s a keeper especially if you love vanillas.

By Rosie Jane Dulce Perfume is something I’d not normally like since I’m not a huge woodsy vanilla fan. I love vanilla but I like more gourmand, sweet vanillas that smell like cake, cupcakes, ice cream, etc…! Woods and vanilla aren’t really my thing even though a woodsy note can make vanilla smell like a warm, comforting hug I still don’t always love the addition of that note.

But this divine…! Done just right with soft touches of warm woods that make the fragrance retain its gourmand element but also, adds a sexy warmth that makes it feel very grownup. I think the nice thing about this fragrance is it will play very, very nicely with other vanillas you may own. I paired it up with a few different vanillas in my stash and it adds warmth and boosts up the vanilla note in a lot of fragrances. It also, works great with my favorite vanilla body lotion, EOS Vanilla Cashmere.

I don’t get any chocolate from the scent but I do get a nice hit of vanilla followed closely by the warmth of the Hinoki wood. The fragrance has a slightly sweet opening but settles onto the skin and dries down to a warmer vanilla scent with a touch of very exotic, sultry woods. This isn’t a terrible sweet vanilla but more of a sexy, grownup vanilla. It creates a very nice scent bubble with a good throw. I get around four hours of wear from it before it needs a touch up!

This is a scent that you can easily get addicted to. It’s classy yet sweet, warm, and inviting. I loved it and think you would too if you’re a fan of vanilla gourmands.
