5 stars out of 5

Say that post title three times fast! Haha! In all seriousness, Heimish Marine Care Deep Moisture Nourishing Melting Cream is the La Me dupe that’s not really a dupe but it feels like a dupe. Am I making sense? Not yet. But I hope it becomes clearer soon!

As you know, I live and die by Heimish Marine Care Eye Cream. It’s inexpensive and it’s SUPER HYDRATING. Like, wow, moisturizing! It’s in my top eye creams list for sure! Of course, after loving this eye cream I absolutely had to purchase every single Marine Care product Heimish had available and the Heimish Marine Care Deep Moisture Nourishing Melting Cream ended up in my cart.

Heimish Marine Care Deep Moisture Nourishing Melting Cream is amazing. Period. It’s not for you if you don’t have dry skin and it’s not for you if you’re blemish-prone or your pores clog easily. It is for you if you need smooth, hydrated, nourished skin. It is for you if you want your makeup to look smoother and more flawless. It is for you if you feel tight after cleansing. It is for you if you’re dry.

I don’t really recommend this for anyone that’s blemish-prone because it does have some heavier moisturizing ingredients that may or may not be an issue. There’s Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Microcrystalline Wax, and Glycerin here just to name a few. They go ALL out with the moisturizing factors. It also contains collagen, niacinamide, and beeswax. There’s A LOT happening here and I would say if you have oily, blemish-prone, or even sensitive skin with pores that clog easily you might want to skip.

But this girl…this girl is all dry and she loves it. This is a thick, luxurious cream that feels a lot like La Mer in texture and even applies with that same melty, slightly greasy, but smooth and soft feel. This is a heavy-duty moisturizer that smoothes, softens, and hydrates skin to the max for younger, smoother, softer, and brighter skin. Dullness be gone! This provides so much moisture it makes your complexion brighter. I use this in the PM as the last step in my nightly routine and wake up with super hydrated skin! My makeup goes on WAY smoother and looks more flawless thanks to this stuff. You can use it the day too but I’d recommend it as more of a Winter AM moisturizer and do use a smaller amount in the day as it’s very, very hydrating.
It does have a light, aquatic fresh scent.

This one is a must for dry skin! I absolutely love it. It feels like I paid $300 for a jar of this. The consistency is a lot like La Mer and feels just as hydrating. If you’re dry the Heimish Marine Care Deep Moisture Nourishing Melting Cream will be your best friend!

I tried the deep moisture “melting” cream and I absolutely hate it. It does not melt, it is a wax. The first 4 ingredients are awful. Mineral oil? petroleum? microcrystaline wax? wax? on my face? it did not spread well, it was so thick and waxy. I even hate to use it on my feet as it remains sticky. WTH is this?
On a nicer note: your review was a good one, you described everything thoroughly, clearly and well written, I just hate the cream so much I guess I lashed out. Thank you for your post, I enjoyed reading it.

oh no I’m so sorry! I love it. Have you tried using it with facial mist? Mist your face and applied. it may absorb more easily for you! Thank you! I appreciate that so much 🙂 It’s ok! Lash out! Vent! I’m here for the good and the bad 🙂 Thank you!
