NARS Yachiyo Kabuki Brush Is One of Two Blushes I’d Take With Me If I Were Stranded On a Tropical Island But It Probably Wouldn’t Survive the Trip
Is there a 1000 star review? Because the NARS Yachiyo Kabuki Brush deserves that and more. I have two blush brushes that I’d totally take with me if I got stranded on a tropical island or if I had to live only two blush brushes for the rest of my life. Without hesitation I’d pick the NARS Yachiyo Kabuki Brush and someone is bound to ask so, I’ll take you the second. It’s the Bobbi Brush Blush Brush! I have a Bobbi Blush Brush I’ve been using for like twenty years and it still looks brand new. It’s pricey AF at $65 but worth every single penny I paid for it.
So, is the NARS Yachiyo Kabuki Brush but it’s a smidge cheaper at $40! Only problem is it won’t last nearly as long as Bobbi Brown’s!
NARS Yachiyo Kabuki Brush is without a doubt a super important amazing and incredible blush brush. I have a heavy hand which means every blush experience is a clown cheek one. I’ve definitely tried to slow my roll when applying blush but I dunno, I guess I’m just using blushes that are a bit too pigmented. The NARS Yachiyo Kabuki Brush is definitely something you want to invest in if you have a similar issues.
It’s an ideal brush for not only use with pigmented blushes or a heavy hand but also, a great brush if you want a more natural, flawless blush application. Not to mention it works amazing with highlighters as well. This has soft soft bristles that aren’t firm or too densely packed into the handle. It has some flop to it for lack of a better word which actually works in your favor during application as it allows for a smoother finish and more ease when gently sweeping brush onto cheeks. You simply can’t go wrong applying blush with this brush because it won’t allow you to do it wrong. It’s one of those brushes that barely needs any effort to stroke color onto cheeks. It’s also impossible to get too crazy with a pigmented brush since it picks up just the right amount of color.
This is also a brush you’re either going to really love or really hate. It’s $40 which is a major splurge due to the fact it has such a flimsy handle. The handle looks like a wand and bends very easily. See what I mean when I say it won’t survive that tropical island? That being said, if you’re careful with it and take good care of you should get some good years of use from it. I have two of these one I purchased recently and another I have for about 5 or so years. The one I have for five years it’s just starting to show some wear. The bristles are easy enough to wash and don’t shed but I was always a little scared to completely submerge this in water due to the handle.
For me, the Yachiyo Kabuki Brush is a big yay. It’s a great tool for someone like me to easily and flawlessly apply my blush. The price versus the weaker handle will raise some brows but for me it works so well I’m more than willing to put up with such issues.
The NARS Yachiyo Kabuki Brush is a keeper. Every try it? Do share if you have!
