Youthforia Turn Up the Sunshine BYO Tinted Blush Oil Review & Swatches

Youthforia Turn Up the Sunshine BYO Tinted Blush Oil (On sale for $25 at Ulta) is a glossy, cheek stain in a gorgeous shade of golden orange. I mentioned this shade in the post I did yesterday of the original Youthforia BYO Blush Oil in the clear pH color-changing formula. There are actually three shades (four if you count the clear) that are available in this formula and Turn Up the Sunshine is one of my fav Summer shades plus it’s on sale this week at Ulta so I decided to haul it out for a review and a swatch.

Youthforia Turn Up the Sunshine BYO Tinted Blush Oil came in the BYO Blush Trio I purchased but the shade is available as an individual purchase and the same price and size as the clear. It arrives in a square barrel with a sponge tip applicator and it’ $36 for .21 oz of blush but on sale they are $25 each at Ulta currently. I failed to mention this in my original post but this packaging is kind of cool as all the blushes have an octagon cut out on the top which is a magnetic that allows you to attach the blushes together for easy to travel or storage.

Hard Candy has a formula much like this one and it is a lot cheaper at $8 and a bit bigger at .25 oz. Sadly, it proves more and more difficult to find lately. I actually love that one a lot but it is only available in a single clear pH shade where as Youthforia’s version comes in four shades. Hard Candy’s formula is similar in color but it seems like Youthforia original clear shade but it is more pigmented! Both shades bubblegum pink. Turn Up The Sunshine is the more intense of those shades. Sadly, you can’t see it in my indoor pictures but this color turns a very pretty orange-y pink on my cheeks. You can see it’s a bit more pigmented than the original clear shade in my photo in this review. This shade just screams that I’ve been out in the sun all day and have that gorgeous sunkissed glow on my cheeks. Absolutely love it. It’s a very healthy, beautiful shade!

This formula won’t be loved by all especially oily skin due to the lipgloss-like texture that feels a bit sticky and sets to a dewy finish. It’s very much a blush oil formula that feels lipgloss-like and has a bit of stickiness feels a bit oily but not greasy. It has a glass-like look on skin that’s dewy to the touch! If you have dry skin you’ll love it. A little goes a long way! A dot on each cheek is plenty to get an intense pop of color! I get about ten hours of wear from it as well! It’s also, very easy to apply and blend!

Youthforia Turn Up the Sunshine BYO Tinted Blush Oil is a great little pick for Summer looks. It gives cheeks lightweight, long-wearing, moisturizing, dewy color with a sunkissed finish that looks natural and pretty!
