Winky Lux Jelly Bear Hydrating Primer Is a Sweet Treat to Prep With
Winky Lux Jelly Bear Hydrating Primer ($21) has launched and she’s giving Touch of Sol Pretty Filter Icy Sherbet Primer energy (if you know, YOU really KNOW!)! This new translucent pink facial primer hydrates skin with hyaluronic acid while creating a smooth surface for makeup to adhere to. The bouncy, jelly-like consistency has a sugar-based moisture system to lock in and plump up skin. It’s also silicone-free! It did immediately remind me of Touch of Sol’s version and the newer NYX Face Freezie Cooling Primer + Moisturizer! I wonder how it compares to those formulas?
As per Winky Lux you can use it to prep with or if you want you can use it as a refreshing moisturizer of sorts along with other skincare. According to them it isn’t going to really extend the wear of your makeup (thanks! I appreciate the honesty!) but it will enhance the look of it. I think what they mean is good makeup starts out with a nicely prepped face that’s hydrated and smooth. Makes sense to me!
Now, if it was only scented like gummy bears this would pretty much seal the deal don’t you agree? I want to try it either way! How about you?
