I missed this when it dropped during the Holidays and I regretted it ever since. Almost everyone in the gourmand fragrance world swears this smells like a vanilla dream and the regret I have experienced since not buying it has been crippling. I remember skipping it because it has a rose-gold pearlescence finish and I was like, “eh, do I really want more shimmer and sparkle on my body!?” I just wasn’t prepared to commit to mica in my body cream ya know? But the endless posts about how everyone misses it and wishes it wasn’t LE really did me in especially the ones saying how it smelled so amazing! The only reason I knew it was back is because of an Instagram that popped up. I was like, wait one sec it’s back? I snatched this up so fast my mouse click finger is hurting.
I happen to love the original Fenty Skin Whipped Oil Body Cream and totally recommend it if you’re a Benefit Maybe Baby girlie or guy. Yeah, remember Maybe Baby? Remember Benefit Kitten? I mean life was golden back in those days. Obviously our bestie Riri is a fan of it too because that’s what the original body cream smells like. I remember when I saw the Vanilla Dream version dropped assuming it was the same fragrance in LE Holiday packaging and later realized nope, it’s a new scent!
