Dove Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie is a new, limited-edition fragrance available in body wash, body scrub, hand soap, and bars of soap that launched with the Dove Holiday Treats Collection! This is one of three fragrances available exclusively at Walmart! The other two are Peppermint Bark and Sugar Cookie and there’s a third scent which is available exclusively at Target which is Hot Cocoa. Sadly, there is only a Dove Hot Cocoa Body Scrub right now where as the other scents have a full body collection!

I sort of wish Dove Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie launched a little earlier as it’s the perfect Fall scent but I get why they went a little later. As it is one we think of when we think of Thanksgiving and Christmas as Pumpkin Pie comes with the season doesn’t it?

I did haul the entire collection! I couldn’t resist. I’m a gourmand girlie and I absolutely need to smell like everything fruity, sweet, and foody! And this was pumpkin pie how could I not grab it? I’m super iumpressed that Dove went all out with this collection. Did you ever in your life think you’d see a bar of soap that smelled like pumpkin pie from Dove? I feel like this is a direct hit at Native’s very popular Holiday and Seasonal Collection. Smart move Dove! We see you! We know where you’re going with this and we approve and also, we expect to see you do more seasonal scents in the future.

If I had to choose which are my favorite scents from this launch I’d go with Peppermint Bark as my number one pick, Hot Cocoa next, and Pumpkin Pie coming in at third place. This is a delicious, yummy treat that translates well in the body wash and the scrub but goes a little too hard with the cinnamon note in the bar of soap and hand soap.

I didn’t get the pie part of this blend as much as I would like. I dunno if that makes sense or not. I get a lot of warm pumpkin and cinnamon but there just isn’t that touch of pie crust that would round out the fragrance a bit better and make it smell a bit more edible. It sort of reminds of of BPAL’s Pumpkin Spice Latte Perfume Oil! Very heavy on the cinnamon and very true to what an actual pie filling would smell like but lacking in the crust department. If you’ve smelled the perfume oil you might get what I mean. It’s a very realistic pie filling scent. This is especially true in the hand soap and bars of soap! They go very hard with that warm, cozy cinnamon note. I think it just lacks a certain sugary note which would make it more gourmand for me. I hope that makes sense.

But still, it smells pretty darn yummy none the less! It’s like Fall in my shower using this! I paired it up with Lavana’s Pumpkin Waffles & Vanilla Cream Eau de Parfum which is sadly gone but you can totally do something like Bath and Body Works Pumpkin Pecan Waffles or Doctor Sweet Tooth Pumpkin Brulee & Toasted Marshmallow Perfume Oil! I so wish they did some body lotion in this collection but I’m thankful for what we did get.

The body wash creates tons of creamy lather! So does the soap but it’s an exfoliating bar which I don’t really like. It has really small exfoliating bits in it. No a big deal but I’m not a fan. The scrub is a finer more gentle body scrub as well with a thicker, creamier texture! It lathers up and gently exfoliates. And finally, the hand soap is creates a nice, rich lather as well!

Dove Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie is a great little pick up to get into the Fall vibe and the Thanksgiving season! I love Dove did these and I hope they do more in the future. Just a note if you are purchasing online you can click a little coupon for $1.50 off each item. I believe you get it back in “Walmart dollars” which can spend later!

I got the scrub and body wash too! The sugar cookie one smelled fake and…waxy? Didn’t care for it at all, and the peppermint one was kind of medicinal smelling, but his one was loverly!

Kind of thinking about going to target for the cocoa one….. hope they have it!

sugar cookie sort of smelled weirdly milky and sugary to me. Not good at all! I LOVED the peppermint one! Sorry you got a medicine smell from it. Totally loved that 😀 The cocoa is gorgeous! wish it was a full collection!
