Too Faced x Pop Tarts is a new makeup collection featuring two, limited edition 8-pan mini eyeshadow palettes inspired by Brown Sugar Cinnamon and Frosted Strawberry Pop Tarts. It has begun….! This is the first time I’m seeing mini palettes packaged in cardboard. This is a sign for what lays ahead for Too Faced Holiday 2023. Brace yourself the cheap palettes are coming! I knew this would happen as soon as Jerrod stepped down. Estee Lauder purchased the brand in 1.45 Billion in 2016 and at that time company owner and founder, Jerrod Blandino, stayed on for a bit. And I have to say during the time period of 2016 up until Jerrod stepped down the brand did have a good run of newer releases. It wasn’t a perfect run but it wasn’t completely boring either.

I’m actually really said to see that the Too Faced x Pop Tarts Palettes are in cardboard packaging! The good news is they are $27 each and typically the six shade tins are $32 each. So, at the very least we aren’t paying more for less packaging and product right?

Cardboard packaging aside the color range is pretty much a rerun of every single shade that Too Faced has done a million times over. These are very typical colors for some of Too Faced Holiday Eyeshadow Palettes! We always get a nude brown palette and a pink one and basically that’s what the Too Faced x Pop Tarts Eyeshadow Palettes bring to the table. Nothing new, nothing exciting. I think the funny part is the shade descriptions. Too Faced is really overcompensating with the descriptions of the shades. Baby Pink with Pink and Gold Pearl Matte Shimmer…damn, dude…it’s pink! Haha!

Meh! I’ll wait for reviews but I kind of want the Brown Sugar palette since I used to love those Pop-tarts. They better get the scent right. 🙂

don’t get too excited because it’s prob not the same scent they use for the holiday stuff and it’s really undetectable 🙁 or so I assume!

I think the cardboard packages are actually a good thing. Better for the environment. The last plastic the better.

I really don’t mind the cardboard when done well like The Balm has for years
