Youth to the People Superfood Hand + Body Lotion and Hand Wash is a Treat Yo Self Kind of Moment
Youth to the People Superfood + Cedarwood Fresh Greens Hand + Body Lotion and Superfood + Cedarwood Fresh Greens Hand Wash are two new launches from a beloved brand. You know I’m a Youth to the People fan girl. A lot of their products are ones I use in my daily skincare routine. I was intrigued when I saw they released a hand wash and hand and body lotion. Of course, being the self-proclaimed Hand Wash Hoarder Queen I had to sniff this for myself. I was blessed enough to get a sample of each from Youth to the People. Getting PR from a brand you love is like winning a major award. It just feels like, “WOW THEY SEE ME THEY REALLY SEE ME! THEY KNOW I LOVE THEM!” Haha…!
But as with all good things around here we gotta keep things real. The Superfood + Cedarwood Fresh Greens Hand + Body Lotion and Superfood + Cedarwood Fresh Greens Hand Wash aren’t cheap. The cream is $48 and the hand wash is $39. I will they are fairly big bottles (glass ones no less) that are 13.1 oz each but I do realize not everyone is going to run out to spend $39 on hand wash. This is a treat yo self kind of experience. If you like it you might be willing to spend that much on a hand wash!
These are way outside my wheelhouse as a gourmand girlie. I like cakes and ice cream and coffee-scented products. I’m all about vanilla and sweet gooey caramel. I want all the yummy scented things in my life. Youth to the People went more earthy and unisex with this launch and that’s ok, sometimes that works when you wanna tone it down from all the sweet stuff. This scent is a warm blend of cedarwood, black pepper, and greens the fragrance was created to uplift and energize. To me it smells warm and woodsy. It reminds me of a spa! I can see myself wearing this with a sweeter vanilla and that’s exactly what I did! I used the body cream and paired it up with a list misting of Escapade Gourmande and the results were interesting. Now it went from warm and woodsy to warm woodsy vanilla! That worked better for me for sure.
I think it’s interesting to see Youth to the People breaking into a brand new category of products that are a bit off their path. If the Youth to the People Superfood Hand + Body Lotion and Hand Wash isn’t quite in your price range no worries Youth to the People always has a great sale and Black Friday and Cyber Monday are on the way too if you want to try these for yourself.
