I Must Be Entering By “Do Not Need To Buy” Laneige Sleep Mask Era

The newest, limited-edition Summer 2024 Laneige Sleep Mask has landed. Laneige Watermelon Pop Sleep Mask is the latet flavor of this cult-favorite lip mask to be added to the brand’s line up and I’m not buying it.

GASP! Oh my god! Are you all running around in circles with flaying hands wondering what in the world is wrong with me? I know I am. I worry about myself sometimes. No but seriously, as a fond fan of Laneige’s Sleeping Masks I’m sort of surprised I added it to my no buy list. I do use these often! Not only in the evening but I actually apply them pre-lipsticks or lipgloss to soften my lips or even on their own for moisture and shine.

In my defense, I don’t really NEED yet another flavor even though they are sort of fun to collect. If you follow me on Instagram you know I ran into a massive batch of them at Marshall’s recently! They were $12.99 each which is quite a lovely deal but I passed them by quickly!

It’s Summer so, of course, we’re getting a brand new flavor! I dunno of Laneige can top the Pink Lemonade Swirl Lip Sleeping Mask from last year but Watermelon Pop sounds fun! Looks like it’s going to be a sweet, fruity watermelon flavor.

As always it’s formulated with moisturizing Murumuru seed, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, as well as Vitamin C. Laneige Watermelon Pop Sleep Mask is $24 and available now. Is it on you buy or no buy list? It’s tempting but I’m going to try to wait for Fall and see what they drop on me! then! P.S. If you’re really craving a Sleep Mask but not willing to spend the $24, E.L.F.’s Holy Hydration Mask is $7 bucks and pretty brilliant!

I must be the only person who doesn’t think these are ” all that”. There are so many other, less expensive Korean lip sleeping masks that I love. I’m using one from Frudia, it is in a squeezy tube and stays on all night. It was 5 bucks, then I found them for 2 bucks on clearance at Marshall’s.
